Helghast sat behind the sleek, black desk in his office. The room was very... standard. It was Helghast's private office in which appearances were not necessary to make any kind of impression. Helghast could do that by himself. He had been engineered to represent everything inhuman that was the Empire in a human. He had, without option, but embracing it nonetheless, sacrificed everything that would've made him an organic creature with a will of its own.

His red eye continued to glow faintly as IMP, the AI that managed the Inquisitoriate Citadel on Coruscant, funneled processed information to the Inquisitor. Two datapads rested on the otherwise clear desk. The crest of the Inquisitoriate, black and blood red in color rotated idly on the datapads. That symbol indicated Inquisitoriate business and held security levels that were only cleared to Agents of the Inquisitoriate and up in rank.

Agent Reyok and Agent Crestmere, accompanied by the new Adept Intelligence Officer, Agent Class I Etanial. The two tasks were quite similar actually but given the personalities involved, would be handled quite differently, Helghast was sure.

The soft ruffles of the snowy, white towel did little to stop the droplets of water from pouring down her poorly dried off body as she quite effectively sauntered down the bland halls of the Inquisitoriate building. The looks of curiosity and a few of disapproval that followed her were subsequently ignored. Her mood was that of an irritated bantha; reflected by her near stomping through the corridors.

Heatedly, her delicate looking hands rubbed the towel roughly through her sopping wet tresses. Even with her less than joyous mood her pace was swift; she didn’t want to keep the Inquisitor waiting anymore than he already had been. The order for her to report to his office came to her while she was in her last phase of weight room work; and truthfully, she didn’t want to sit in her own sweat for however long she was going to be in his presence.

But her irritation came from the scalding shower, in which she had to rush through…something she never enjoyed doing. Thus her attitude and thoughts of not drying off so she would drip all over his carpet.

Pettiness aside, she managed to make it to his private office in good time. Reyok draped the towel over her shoulders and gave the door a solid rap. She waited for Inquisitor Helghast’s permission to enter.

Crestmere and Xanatos were walking down the hallway towards Helghast's private office. It was Etanial's preliminary task to prove to some degree his capabilities or at least his potential to the Inquisitoriate. Crestmere had the gist of the mission but he overall, as usual, took it in stride. This wasn't life or death for Crestmere, maybe Xanatos, but not Victor.

"You ok, X?"

Crestmere wanted to relieve as much tension as he could before he sent the rookie in their with the Inquisitor. Helghast had the ability to tear people down where they stood and rebuild them before he blinked. Not that Crestmere would have necessarily minded if Xanatos broke down; it'd most likely prove to be an interesting character study. Otherwise, he really just wanted to get on with things.

He glanced at his associate, Agent Crestmere, giving a short nod. Nerves, frelling nerves... his initiation into the Inquistoriate had been something of a culture shock. Xanatos was used to being royalty, wealthy, independent - or a criminal, free and perverse.

Suddenly being thrown into the role of a soldier, and being sent through training, in many ways being recreated during that time into what would be an effective weapon for the glory of the Empire and it's people... is a rather startling change of pace for a spoiled brat, and not entirely unwelcomed - discipline and order, traits Xanatos had always come up lacking in, had been driven into him.

His nerves would steady, and then he'd be fine. "I'll be fine, Crestmere - just excited to begin my work, is all."

Her patience was relatively limited in some of the various number of moods she possessed; her present mood being one of them. She knew that patience was key but sometimes, very scarcely, her trained control would waver slightly. The relative hell that she wished to unleash on someone burned in the pit of her stomach as her hand traveled to the panel adjacent to the door.

However, she hesitated when the slight ringing of voices caught her attention and her hand drop away from the panel.

Water droplets still trickled down her back; passed the cropped black sport shirt she wore; they traveled slowly in beautiful patterns as if tracing the intricate, onyx colored tattoo that clashed against her pale back. Her cool green eyes peered down the hall and a catlike grin spread across her lips; as she thought it was Victor Crestemere and . . . friend?

‘Well, well.’ Danni thought. ‘What’s this?’

The irritation in her left as curiosity replaced it; she pulled the towel from around her neck and continued to run it through her soaked hair. The men got closer and she gave the mystery man a quizzical look; although the smile never left its place.

“Victor.” She called smoothly and pointed to Xanatos. “That a new member of your happy family?"

"Of our happy family, you mean? But yes, to answer your question."

Xanatos would have to meet all of them eventually. Victor easily hid the smile at the thought that it was probably better that Reyok, who he thought more of as an elegant, tempermental house cat with viscious claws, was probably best met alone without any of the other members of Project Nightmare to agitate her.

Victor dramatically bowed, with a wavy hand gesture towards Reyok, his grace seeming almost as fluid as water.

"Agent Xanatos Etanial, Adept Intel Officer, meet Agent Danni Reyok, member of Project Nightmare. I'm sure you'll both get along great..."

Helghast was not to be kept waiting.

"But we've got to get moving along."

And as Victor finished his sentence, he straightened himself and stood, tugging at the collar of his uniform. The door seemed to open as if Victor had mentally commanded it to. The voice that came from inside the room fit the dimly lit red room waiting for the trio.

"Enter."

Any and all traces of playfullness leaked a out of her system with that one single word...

"Enter."

Instead, a firm and quite composed physique came over her stance as she entered the darkened room first, inwardly she was smiling...wickedly at that. Xanatos was up for a real treat. The Inquisitor was a very, very intimidating man and he had the power and brutal eveness to back it up.

She placed the towel back around her neck and came to a saluted pose in front of Inquisitor Helghast's desk.

"Agent Reyok. Reporting." Her tone had a certain edge to it that indicated that even with her harmless appearance, she meant all business.

He had almost had time to respond the female agent's questioning when the door opened the voice, if one could call it that - it was more felt than heard, echoed out. Suddenly it was all business, from all parties involved. He was just behind the Agent, Reyok, and stood just a step behind and to the side of her.

"Agent Class I, Etanial, also reporting. Sir." He saluted properly and waited, almost trying not to breathe as he watched the man who had called them forth.

Victor stepped in behind with a bow and a salute before stepping behind the two junior Agents. Well, Agent Reyok was the oh so esteemed rank of Agent, simply Agent, which meant they transcended most ranks within the Imperium but Crestmere was quite confident that in the food chain, he sat comfortably above her. Victor didn't bother with the whole reporting in bit either, Helghast didn't need any more time wasted.

Helghast nodded as each Agent introduced themselves. He stood slowly, picking up the datapads in each hand as Y'roth stepped around his desk. The man was well over six feet tall and towered in presence regardless. His uniform was incredibly sharp looking for having nothing but the blood red Inquisitoriate insignia on his left breast and right shoulder. Black wires worked up his neck beneath his skin like veins. He stopped in front of Agent Reyok, looking down at her, he held out the datapad and the screen activated, automatically displaying a profile.

"Agent Reyok, a rogue adept has been detected in the lower levels of Coruscant and your mission is to remove the target. We know the extent of his domain and we also know that he is combative. He has mindwashed the inhabitants within his current domain and convinced them, most likely using his adept abilities to corrupt their minds, that he is their savior. He steals government provisions and disperses them among the inhabitants and uses them as a information network. They refer to him as Hoyd. Any Imperial units he encounters are dispatched through the use of his lightsaber. You will have minimal backup operating in the lower levels and will be the only member of Project Nightmare available in the area. Any questions, Agent Reyok?"

His red eye cast a dim glow across the Agents' faces standing before him.

Danni Reyok was intimidated by little, but still she was human. Inquisitor Helghast was nearly the only thing that strained her nerves. The task was would be interesting; force adepts were always…interesting to say the least.

She took the datapad from him with out looking down and nodded once to confirm that she heard his mission.

A strange glint came to her eyes as she grasped the datapad in her hand.

"As a prisoner, Sir,” She looked into his eye. "Or completely removed?"

Y'roth Helghast

"Removed, Agent Reyok."

Interestingly enough, Hoyd was a known entity that had been allowed to exist within the lower levels of Coruscant until now. The Jedi had ratted out several other Jedi in hiding on Coruscant and had exiled himself to the abyss many years ago. The man had been a hermit, under the close watch of the Inquisitoriate, and while living a passive life, his existence had gone by relatively without any intervention from the Empire. The old man must have overcome his own depression though and become to a point delirious as the Empire had begun to notice "converts" coming up from the abyss. And so the Inquisitoriate had determined that former Jedi Knight Hoyd would need to be removed, 'completely' as Agent Reyok had inferred.

However, none of this was on his profile that was given to Agent Reyok. None of the actual background to Hoyd was actually necessary to Reyok's mission, merely the assumed capabilities of the former Jedi and his given realm of influence.

"You are dismissed, Agent Reyok. Return when your mission is accomplished for debriefing."

Without another word, Helghast turns towards Agent Etanial, giving the new recruit a moment to allow Helghast's intimidation factor to saturate the young man's mind.

"Agent Class I Etanial, a group of young adepts within the upper class of Coruscant is conducting alleged secret meetings, experimenting with the use of the Force and possibly developing terrorist sympathies. Agent Crestmere will be accompanying you. Your mission is to assess their mental state, adept capabilities, and if determined necessary, they must also be removed."

She nodded.

In truth, Danni was more that excited for this mission; one could say she was a sadistic monster for what she loved to do. To kill was not a crime in her mind, it was just freeing the universe from people who didn’t deserve to live and that, to Danni at least, was enough reason to enjoy what she was assigned to do.

She didn’t quite dismiss herself from the room just yet. Reyok waited until the Inquisitor was done with briefing “the new guy”.

It proved to be rather….interesting. She held ran through the mission in her mind more than once as Inquisitor Helghast had assigned it to the boy.

When he was done, she would leave the room.
