Alrighty, I wanted to get this up sooner, but with finals approaching, college has me beaten over the head.

We've had a gradual increase of activity and cooperation between the rebels and imperials, especially in the war/large scale department. Nothing close to pre-reset days, but I'm really hoping we can work it up to there eventually.

The big experiment right now is the Warzone: Sarapin thread we have going on. After a few series of posts, I think that we're sorely unorganized for these types of threads and need to get are rears in gear. I like what we had set up with the SOV, where each branch had a 'supreme commander' (or at least authority) of sorts and kept tabs on all things for that department while communicating with everyone else. (Ex: Army: Jarek T'chort Navy: Telan Desaria Government: Tiberius Anar Intelligence: Tear Inquisitoriate: R.S. Esalis)

No person can or should run everything. I like my position with the INQ and my scheming there, so I'd like to see what departments other people are looking to. Khendon, I think you (or Kraken/Travis if you don't think you have the time) probably would be the man for Navy (besides your Executor-scheming-stuff-you-do ;) ).

For Army, I am dead set on Lamar as our guy. I've spoken with him already and he's up for the job. It may or may not work for his character, however, if no one else objects, I would like to grant Lamar authority to control the army and NPC any ranking officers he sees fit and granted the rank of Field Marshall and Combatant Commander of the Storm Trooper Corps.

For Intel, S'ils got it covered with R.S. Esalis.

Government, Miranda or Tiberius (hell a tag team between those two would also be amazing)

I'm looking forward to see what every one else here thinks and would also like input on ideas. This system isn't meant to belittle anyone or their characters, but to enhance the fluidity of our organization and get some more activity going without having everyone call a group meeting to discuss things.

Excellent idea. Separating things like this makes the group much more clean-cut and on the ball as opposed to an amorphous-blob-ish... thing, that might or might not get something done.

Now that Helghast is back... we're going to put the government back on track. Plus, I've been getting my interest back with SW so :D

I'd be up for helping out as much as I can.

Everyone should add me to their IM contacts and feel free to IM me at will about anything and everything :)

For those that don't know, my AIM is "hakrbuddy", my MSN is hakrbuddy@hotmail.com (I don't use this e-mail for e-mail), and my Yahoo is KhendonSevon.

I also have a skype account; but, I don't remain logged into it.

So...

Umm...

Who is around?

Y'roth Helghast

I'm around now.

I have to object to Lamar assuming that position unless his character changes. Given certain aspects of his background, and previous threads, which unfortunately were left unfinished due to real life issues, mostly with me :(, his character could never appear a prime suspect for such a role. Or at least the Inquisitoriate in role would not let it happen.

I support the division of the Empire as Karl has put out though. And now that I'm back, with Valten, we'll still be putting Miranda to the throne as we talked about a while ago. This division would work in role because Tarkin does not have all the experience in these areas, or at least, not as much as the others that have been listed. As Empress, she would expect them all to handle those things accordingly while she did what she could in her expertise, as well as being the new, ultimately influential figurehead of the Empire.

I'm still about, dealing a blow to the Bothans and trying to get other characters rolling.

I had the same thought concerning the character. However I think it would be alright to give him authority to NPC ranking military officers and work with military organization.

I concur. If Lamar assumes the role of other characters, I believe his writing abilities are more than capable of assuming them and running with it as effective military characters.

Who would be in charge of the Navy and therefore Shadow Squadron?

Khendon Sevon

Khendon, I think you (or Kraken/Travis if you don't think you have the time) probably would be the man for Navy (besides your Executor-scheming-stuff-you-do ;) ).

*Raises hand*

Of course, there are issues to hammer out.

I have to figure out why Khendon wouldn't just kill, you know... everyone.

We never wanted you to leave in the first place, goofball :p

As for things dying, they didn't; just slowed down due to Thanksgiving :)

Telan you're always welcome here. You're probably the only one here that has a decent sense of honor as an officer.

Oh, oh. If Telan comes back, he can be in charge of the Navy!

Then I don't have to figure out a way for Khendon to be a nice guy. He can remain angry, and bitter, and evil, and cruel, and... Well, you get the point ;)

Telan Desaria

So Khendon gets to be well, Khendon. And here I thought you stopped rping. Good to see I was wrong.

S'Il, Khendon, Karl, Teleran - seeing you all makes me want to come back. Ok, I'll do it.

So give me the situation as to who has what, who we're at war with, and what we have to work with.

When I left it read thus

Admiral Piett Vader and the Emperor were killed at Endor, myself assuming command of the sector group and driving off the Rebel forces at Endor - of course that had smashed but not destroyed the Death Star.

Tiberius was the political head of the government, a former Vizier or whatever to the Emperor. He ran things behind the scene,s with Khendon being the Executor - the face of power for the post-Endor Galactic Empire.

Shadow Squadron was one of the many elite fighter commands the Empire had to offer, eager and waiting to smash the Rebels any chance they got.

Miranda Tarkin was a Moff, and the leader of a Sector I cannot remember.

Esalis was the Director of Intelligence with Tear the Grand Inquisitor.

That's about all I remember. I had been made Grand Admiral and thats pretty much it. What has happened since then? And btw - how long after Endor are we now???

Yup.

The way things look to be shaping up, Miranda and Anar are going to be in charge of the government aspect of the Empire.

Shadow Squadron will still be around I can only assume, and will have their own niche within the Navy itself; So I would imagine that you'd be their department head ;)

As for Khendon, he's definately the black sheep and wild card of this whole organization. There's really no telling what he's going to do, best I can think of in terms of his role is 'he's gonna do what he wants to do, and it's best to humor him.'

Esalis was the Director of Intelligence with Tear the Grand Inquisitor.

Esalis is still in charge of Intel, and is currently actively pursuing a way to create a new kind of supersoldier for the Empire with the help of the Academy's Professor Karrnage.

Tear disappeared a while ago, and he's not contacted me, so I don't know what happened to him :\ In his stead, I believe Karl and Y'roth have filled out the Inquisitoriate's ranks quite nicely, and are the perfect guys to continue doing so.

That's about all I remember. I had been made Grand Admiral and thats pretty much it. What has happened since then? And btw - how long after Endor are we now???

As far as how long after Endor, I'm sorry to say I don't personally know. I think it's something like IC a year and a half or two years, somewhere in that time. A lot of us skip about through the timeline, fleshing out backgrounds and backstories, etc.

Hope that helps :)

As far as my characters go, Karl Valten has replaced Tear as Grand Inquisitor and Teleran is sitting at the rank of commodore and is the head naval representative for the Department of Research and Technology. Karl is still technically the defacto head of the INQ and is trying to unify the Inquisition under him.

War is with the the Alliance at the moment. The major thread at the moment is a skirmish on the planet Sarapin. Trench warfare and all that brutal stuff. Other things that are being looked at are Khendon's treason and Lileana's involvement as his sort-of-unwilling-but-also-not-really assassin, a rogue band of force-users that crashed a pair of star destroyers into each other in orbit over Imperial Center, Y'roth is going after rogue Royal Guards and investigating Miranda's potential for being Empress, R.S. Esalis is doing I don't know what with the Lupines (I read, I got confused, I cried ;) )

.......wow, I honestly didn't think we had that much going on. No real big battles and stuff going on, though, but the rebels have been getting ballsy and I think we can change that around.

What about whatever is happening with Hera? Do you guys have plans for her?

Excellent. My return will be at Sarapin, then. I will laugh, some will cry, most will die. An excellent idea, yes?

I'll have to think of a way to explain my absance.

You can jump in and end the stalemate between the rebel fleet and the Imperial fleet driving off the rebel fleet and finishing of the remaining rebel troops with a beautiful orbital bombardment of the trench system.

as far as your enemy, it seems to be me at the moment as far as fleet goes. Shadow squadron is engaged in a battle at Sullust against a far superior rebel group. Sarapin of course you have the data. Reshmar himself will be leading an assault on the tie manufacturing facilities on Lianna as soon as I get this RL job done. 3 weeks or so. Reshmars group is operating from Calimari. I am also planning an assault on Kashyyyk once the three assaults which have my forces spread out have finished and I can get my fleet together in one spot.

Besides that I am alone as far as the fleet goes besides the help from the IMP guys which I greatly appreciate. Rouge squadron is still around just quiet. I have no idea where Lion is ooc. IC he still retains command of the Rebel fleet and his group has gone missing somewhere.

good to see you back, I will enjoy destroying your ships.

That would also be Y'roth's scheming area. I think he's taking her along on the trip to go after the guards.

P.S. Oh, Mr. Reshmar. Are you still wanting to edit your post, or should I jump in?

Who runs your run of the will non-force adept spys/mercs INQ or Intel?

Cause I joined once Upon a time as spy but nothing ever came from it. Yet I would like to bring this character back to the playground evntually. Currently he is being kid apped by Jedi.

I believe that would be the Intel Department, I can give S'il a jingle if you'd like.

Exterior of the Empire is Imperial Intelligence

Interior is the Inquisition

Y'roth Helghast
Dec 7th, 2007, 07:03:02 PM
As far as exterior and interior, we kinda work in and out of each other I would assume. Its remotely similar, note the word remotely, to the FBI and CIA. They can overlap and whatnot as needed. I'm just clarifying as to not confuse anyone when they see either group go outside of exterior or interior boundaries. ;)

Telan Desaria
Dec 7th, 2007, 07:05:02 PM
Of course, there is inter mingling, but those are the charters accordingly. Something akin to Intel as the KGB and the Inquisition as the GRU, if you know Soviet parlance

Karl Valten
Dec 7th, 2007, 07:05:24 PM
Eh, both groups are coniving nutcases anyway. ;)
