I actually don't know if we have anyone near San Jose, but hope everyone's okay.

Well, I used to live there. :p
5.6 isn't too big - looks like things got shook up a bit but everyone's fine.

CA had an earthquake? O_o
:lol Too be honest, we have so many, I usually A) don't feel em, or B) don't hear about them until way after the fact.

Silly, you live a few hundred miles away from where this earthquake was. :mneh

I used to hate hate hate earthquakes, but then I got used to them and sort of perversely enjoy the little ones. Of course, if we started getting them here in Portland I'd have to freak out about the giant volcano in our backyard possibly becoming active and killing us all. :uhoh

Yeah, having a volcano blow up in your backyard wouldn't be under the category of "fun". :uhoh

I'd take an earthquake over a tornado any day.

The only time I felt an earthquake, I thought somebody was pranking me, because it felt like someone was rocking my bed.
