Balls of Fury is going to be the tough one to predict. I could see it finishing 3rd or 5th this weekend. Halloween is the easy one. I don't think it makes less than 20 million for the 4 day. Oh and I think you mean Labor day weeekend instead of Memorial day :)

The only thing I can think of is the studio is hoping to duplicate the most successful Halloween movie which was H20. That was released in late August and made around 80 million. They figure it will make more now than in October. I also think they are afraid of two other scary movies being released in October, Saw 4 and Trick R Treat.
