I just realized this was getting close again. Is there interest in doing this again? I probably should start the league this week to begin the process. We need to decide on when to do the draft. We did it on Sunday afternoon last year is that a good time to do it again?

Oh I set the Draft date for August 28th at 4:45, I can change it if I need to though. I kept the rules from last year, but if anybody want to suggest any changes I am willing to listen.

This is how the draft went in the Keeper league I'm in... we're starting on year 4 (and I thank the makers that Aaron Brooks wasn't assigned to a team... cause that freed up a valuable spot on my roaster). The first 2-8 rounds of the draft, everyone picked their keeper players. Once they had all their keepers from the previous years, they went to free agency. I had 5 keepers, so not too bad. And also, this was the only draft ever where I'd see Javon Walker go #1. :lol

(Also, order posted is the number round they went in, 1st being top and so on and so forth)

To be fair, most the defensive players were crap shoot picks based on their point production last year. And awesome names.

Overall, this is a huge improvement over my teams in the keeper league in the past years... Bush will be a monster, but I'm not too thrilled with my 2 and 3 RBs. Dunn has the possibility to be huge this year with Vick out of the way, but he now has Norwood (Davenport is in Pit, silly me) to split the carries with. Over all, I probably won't be getting a championship in this league, but I'll be a spoiler to some teams out there. :D

I was in a fantasy draft today and it went pretty good. My first six picks went great
1 Steven Jackson
2 Ronnie Brown
3 Tom Brady
4 Randy Moss
5 Hines Ward
6 Tony Gonzalez
After that my power went out and it auto my 7th pick and I had a brain freeze on my 8th. I picked a RB who had the same bye weeks as my starters, luckily somebody who wanted him said we could swap backs. After that everything is pretty much guessing anyway. I did get Jamal Lewis as 9th pick, probably shows how far he has fallen.

Also I took out the W/T for now, in our league. I think its best with 10 players not to have it. It makes it tough finding a WR or TE after the draft. I know I had a lot of problems finding anything when my WR's were sucking.

Good thinking on that part. I mean, we could probably find another WR out there if need be, but point production would be horrible. And after Gonzolaz and Gates (and Heap <3) all TE's are aboutt he same in point production. Adds no real value to it.

Oh, and keeper leagues are fun. :D

Jedieb, have you looked at your team. That was pretty good for an autodraft. LT, 3 stud receivers in Steve Smith, Marvin Harrison, Anquan Boldin, Tomy Romo at QB and solid at TE, kicker, and defense. Your main weakness is the lack of a solid #2 RB, because I am not high on Lynch, but I might be wrong about that.
