Personality: She was once very brash and callous, with the tendancy to kill anyone who looked at her in the wrong way, but has recenly changed to a calm demeanor. The look in her eye shows a troubled past, however, as her previous life echoed with suffering, not only to those around her, but within herself.
Brief History: Once a malevolant mercenary ready to kill at the sight of anyone who crossed her the wrong way, Shandra Nerys turned over a new leaf and saw that the life of killing is not her forte.
Born on a word filled with mercenary activity, Onderon, she lead a very harsh life along with her family. She grew very angry with her homelife over time, and left home at the age of 18, ending up in the hands of a group of mercenaries and bounty hunters. There she began to lead a life of crime, falling under the wing of a ringleader named Jarro Sunslayer, mostly getting in trouble for petty theft. Though she had several opportunities to harm many people, she never gave into that, knowing she was no true killer.
At 20, she left the group's main compound and returned home to her famiily, but discovered that they had been destroyed. With her parents dead she felt there was no other place to go but back to the mercenary compound. But after questioning several people that lived in their vicinity about the attack on her home, she found out that the man that took her under his wing was behind the attack, and that he had been aiming on making sure she never returned home.
So with that, she fled, taking on various assumed names, and even went to the lengths of changing her appearance so that he would not ever find her. Seven years have passed since she left that group, and she now only wants to serve those that do good in the galaxy.
