View Full Version : A Bloody Tradition Reborn
Dante Marzullo

Weeks have passed since Dante's rebels have arrived to Coruscant, transforming the slimey sewers into their new base of operations. The new complex spans a few city blocks, with hundreds of Muuta's slaves smuggled in to help with building around the clock. What Lars thought impossible had almost become a shrewd reality.
Dnate sits up as he awakens from a nightmare, pulling a cloth with a flick of the Force, wiping his forehead dry as he hears a roaring sound again. It was a beast of some sort, maybe the beast.
"Awesome, they have finally arrived."
Quickly putting his robes on, Dante's slave hands him a cup of milk, an absurd but prefered option for a wretched traitor such as himself, but nobody would question the boss' antics. He exits his room as Lars signs some type of delivery form. Apparently, even criminal smugglers needed some type of signature.
"You did! You found a nexu! (http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/9/91/Nexu.jpg/250px-Nexu.jpg)" he exclaims, putting his hand on the cage as the nasty animal charges inside. The rattle of the cage startles the Marzullo leader briefly, but quickly brings out a thrilled laugh as he steps aside.
"You did well, Lars, now we can start a suitable tournament tonight!"

Lars only returns a cold stare, going back to writing the details of the animal as he takes a blood sample, receiving a long scratch on his arm for his efforts.
"This is insane, Dante, do you know just how many people we had to bribe to have this beast smuggled?"
The only satisfaction that Lars can receive now is the fact that Dante himself would be fighting the animal soon enough, and the gods forbid if anything were to happen to him. A couple of slaves quickly begin tending to his arm as he takes a seat.
"It would be terrible indeed." he thinks, chuckling to himself within his thoughts.

Dante kicks the beast's cage, causing the beast to charge from inside once again, tumbling the cage over. Angry and hungry, it would prove to be a formidable opponent later that day. It seems unbelievable that he would finally step inside an ampitheather after so many years, the thought of dust and blood dancing to a requiem of screaming and suffering makes him anxious. and eager.
"Prepare it for midnight and send an invitation to Muuta and the rest of the family."
One of Dante's twisted hobbies involves his newfound taste to harass his own uncle, one who was instrumental in the uprising, each day pushing him harder, testing the man's patience.
All those taunting thoughts go away as he enters the finished arena, a fabulous design that Lars created quickly. Spanning some two hundred square meters, the ground had been dug deeper. Metal and stone removed to give way to this fabulous fighting arena.
"It's small, but it sure will do." Lucius says as he steps in, shoving aside a slave carrying a load of dirt.
"These filthy subhumans will be disposed of as soon as the job is done." speaks Dante, displaying a snobbish and repulsive look in his face, lacking any type of remorse or pity over non force adepts. He was raised that way, and unfortunately for many, he stayed that way.

"You are a sick, twisted man, brother." Lucius speaks, eyeing another slave dragging blocks of concrete.
"I love it."
Dante chuckles as his younger half brother speaks just the way he thinks most of the time.
"You cut your hair, Lucius, good."
Dante continues to walk around the heights of the arena, rubbing his palms in sheer excitement.
"...because you looked like a sissy before."

"But of course."
Lars isn't a huge fan of sarcasm, prefering the rude approach followed by some self-worshipping that only he knows how to correctly mingle. Proud of his inventions and glad that Dante uses him, that alone being the reason of his loyalty. the other twin didn't even care, scolding his inventions as "help for the family" rather than worshipping them as they truly are, works of art.
"Go on, haul away."
The terrified slaves connect the special cage to a hatch, sucking the animal right out as the chute spits him into the dug in arena. The beast immediately tries to climb its way out, only to be zapped by one of the numerous guards guarding the rails.
"If you want to be torn apart by this beast, fine by me."
Lars then proceeds to send an invitation to the rest of the family, to witness a glorious fight in the spirit of the old Marzullo colloseum, destroyed for all they know.
