I was just curious if anyone on this forum did any art in the three dimensions. I just graduated with art and took a liking to figurative sculpture. All of my work starts in clay and the better pieces result in plaster casts. Right now I am working on a beseiged Roman soldier. Recently I finished a rendering of Aerial from yes, the Little Mermaid, and am casting a bust of a woman in my garage. Other works I did was a portrait of my youngest brother and a figurative study that was utterly destroyed in a casting process. I also did a British infantry soldier from the first world war, but he too has returned to the bucket of indistinguishable clay.

Here's a few pictures:

You should know: I used to frequent this forum often, before I faded into oblivion, and was always impressed by you regulars and your talent. However, I never took the opportunity to post here and share.

O_o Wow, the only 3D art I try to do usually turns into mush. That's really good.

Holy cow! Those are fantastic!

I have sculpy that I play with every now and then, and my 3D work is mostly done in 3DSMax; I don't have the kind of talent you have though.

Thank for the compliments.

Well meatwad wasn't technically 3d... I made a 6 foot by 6 foot cardboard meatwad to hang on the wall. It's since been lost :(

See? Now you have to make a giant sculpture of him to replace it :)
