Any PHP programmers about?

I'm trying to set up a new web comic database and I've run into an aggravating bit of code. I know that what I want to do is possible, at least logically, but I don't know how to do it. On a scale of 1-10, my PHP knowledge is about a 0.6.

In a nutshell I need to add a condition to a function to filter out a database listing. So if that sentence makes sense to you and you have the time, I can explain the problem in more detail by email or PM. Thanks.

I may be able to help but I am by no means a php expert or programmer. I've done quite a bit of php coding around these parts though and it seems okay. :D

Got the PM. The question turns out to be SQL more so than PHP, but I think my reply should do the trick. :)

Edit: N/M Its PHP now. :)

Edit2: I think I was right the first time. Its a SQL issue.

Huzzah! It was a simple fix, which is what I figured. The results of all this "hard" work should be online some time this week. :D
