This is my dog Hank.

Hank is an 11 Month Old Yellow Labrador Retriever.

Hank is awesome. He's 75 pounds of pure puppy muscle. He loves to play, destroys everything he can when you are not looking, has literally sprung his own cage and spent an entire day (while my wife and I were gone) systematically tearing apart a straw hat I wear in the yard, has eaten my wife's homework (seriously), chewed pieces of drywall off of our utility room wall, and has chewed a hole in more socks than I can possibly buy, has dislocated my wife's shoulder, and sprained the dogsitter's ankle on a routine walk.

And apparently, he's ferocious. As I was trying to take a good pic of him tonight, he - at the last second - reached out and bit the camera. So the last pic is a straight shot of 100% Hank-sophagus. I was laughing so hard I let my guard down and he tackled me.

Anyway, this thread is for the love of pets.

I love my dog. :D

Awwwww, you have the cutest puppy ever! (except for mine of course :D)

These are my kitties. (L t R) Nix, Underfoot, Nox (my guilty fav), Cassander, Hawkeye (the longhair in the back), Teddy and Alexander. I had three more (James, Kea, and Ceridwen) but they got to be too much and so went to my sister-in-laws house.

I will have to take some recent pics of my dogs and the newest addition, Spatz the Sparrow, who flew into a window at work today and has neurological problems now. :(

EDIT: Ahahaha, little Spatz and me! (thanks Mark! :hug)

Razor, half siamese, half gravity has no idea what he is

http://alliancemotorsport.org/gallery/d/32650-1/ginger.jpg

Ginger, 100% laid back Australian Myst. Appears to be really dumb but in fact just doesnt care.

And the thing we're still tryign to work out if he's a huge cat or small panther, Stig. Panther kinda wins I think.

Razor / Stig size comparison.

The Blaxland gang in their kitty run

And I mentioned there's a new addition - this is Merlin. A half Siamese / half burmese 18 month old ball of energy that Stig espeically doesnt like. Merlin, being a third of Stig's size found out what a kitty heavyweight right hook feels like. Poor Merlin got decked big time.

Good thing he's lightning quick. Hate to think what could happen if especially Ginger would do if they were in a brawl. So far, just a few hisses and Merlin gets a swipe or two before runnign off. I think Stig only got him because Merlin just was not expecting the king hit. Actually neither was anyone else! Stig usually only fights when there's food or a bird involved.

Merlin is gorgeous!

And Liz, your cats look so happy and content in their successful takeover of your bed :D

Agreed, Merlin is a beaut.

They may have won the battle but I won the war when I bought a twin size bed that prohibits kitty lounging. :D

This is one of my homes-away-from-home, in WA state. My stepfather and my sisters returning from (or heading out on) a traditional Sunday ride. We have five horses; these are (if I remember correctly) Noir Boy, Nowhere Man, Brumsfeld (Brummy), and Tickeyboo.

I distinctly remember telling my stupid cheesehead sister that under no circumstances was she allowed to ride Nowhere when I moved out! :verymad

Horses!!!! :eee

And why does Merlin have such a girly tag on his collar? That's probably the reason Stig hit him. :p

I am so sorry.. :cry

Mr. Fuzzums got hit last year and I am still not over it. :(

Emily, spawn of Fuzzums, and her new kitten Sophie are both very spooky and doing well. I'll have to grab a few pics of them and put them up. :)

Sorry to hear about the kitty.:(

My cat is sleeping on his face again. I'd take a picture, but my sister took my digital camera and the parents have the other one with them.

Oh Marcus, I'm ssssooo sorry to hear about Merlin, he was gorgeous.... :cry

Here is a picture of my beloved Flossie, who I had to put to sleep earlier this year:

http://i207.photobucket.com/albums/bb164/Rutabaga64/cat%20pictures/flossiesink.jpg

This picture shows her sitting in my bathroom sink, which was one of her favorite places. This is the picture I have framed and sitting next to her ashes on one of my bookshelves. :)

I'm going to try to take some more current photos of my 2 roomies, Chewie and Lily, over the next few days so I can post them here.

Ariiiiiiiiise, thread, ariiiise!

This is our new kitten. He is almost four months old and has a new green collar.

He is probably going to be named Morrissey. But maybe not.
