Songs sounded catchy when I was 15. O.o
Now I just want to sleep with them, except for Ginger, Mel 1, Mel 2, Posh and Sporty.
Bah, actually, the hell with them.

Of course I did. I don't remember much of it, though. I have a picture of me wearing a Spice Girls t-shirt on what I assume is my 9th birthday. I'll have to try and dig it out. :lol

XD "Greatest Hits"? This should be a roit... I think I only really remember liking one of their songs, honestly, but coming from a family of DJ's I kinda had to listen to them when they played... that was what... middle school for me? :rolleyes Yeah.... ten years, 7th grade... @.@ Shoot me please! XD
At least none of *YOU* had to teach the macarena dance because your father discovered you learned it at summer camp six months before it came out in your own state XD :twak

They had more success and popularity (in the US, as well as the rest of the world) than you are giving them credit for, you know.

Jun 30th, 2007, 02:03:34 PM
I'm not saying that isn't the case. I'm just saying, they were popular in the US and were pretty much a worldwide phenomenon at the height of their popularity. Dismissing them as one-hit wonders isn't really accurate :mneh

Jun 30th, 2007, 02:13:38 PM
Nah, they were not one hit wonders :mneh They were just geared to the age group we were at when they came out. :lol I only remember their first two albums, but not their third... granted, probably didn't help that my parents never paid for TV and I didn't listen to that kind of music 90% of the time during that time peroid
