I wouldn't use this, if I were you. The fact that you have to give them your email password is a bit iffy.

I don't want to know who doesn't like me any more. That's depressing. :(

Hart is right. This is pretty much the last thing I'm going to care about, just like "OMG they took me out of their top 8 we are so not BFs anymore."

*runs Spybot and Adaware*I'd be changing my email password immediately, and my address if possible.

It asked you for your password, that is one of the biggest alarm bells possible, let alone that there is ways you can spot it technically. NO valid site asks for passwords - do as Ogre said absolutely RIGHT NOW.
And anyone else who has fallen for it, do it as well. Change your passwords immediatly. Your email is now compromised.
As a safety measure, absolutly never disclose personal details to sites unless you are convinced they are legit. And even then, use a disposable address if you need to say register with email except for truly properly run sites like here that absolutely never disclose privacy details or use them.

I went ahead and removed most of the address from the OP, so people don't click on it before they read the warnings down here in the thread. :)

You gave your email password to a third party service? No offense, but what were you guys thinking?

You gave your email password to a third party service? No offense, but what were you guys thinking?Apparently they weren't. I was only skimming the posts which is why I didn't say something to the same effect. Of course it's a harvester.

what's pissing me off is that I don't use my aol email account, so I'm not nervous that anyone's sending stuff to people I know. But I am nervous about people logging on to AIM and posing as me.
Grr, I don't even remember what wiseguy security question answer I put down, so I can't even change my password...

The things I have seen in the past, from not reading replies before clicking links, have done well to desensitize me from what the Internet can muster up.
But yeah, definitely follow Kat's example. It will save you tons of trouble and in some cases protect your virgin eyes :p

after many a porn troll on other boards, I've learned not to click links before reading what others have said about it...and even then, I usually still won't click it....
