Any brilliant weapons inventor/designer/mechanic/etc. character?

Hey all, I was wondering if anyone had a character that's a genius weapons designer. Just for future reference. Once Hartus is done with his current RP situation, he'll be searching for someone to help upgrade his armor's built-in weapons system and gadgetry. I suppose even a Fighter mechanic would be sufficient. Hart himself is not aware of the latest advances in military tech, so even someone who is willing to sell some of that would be great, and then Hartus would just have the task of incorporating the new tech himself.

I can only think of one weapons designer off the top of my head, and that would be Khendon Sevon. He's created some facinating technology pre-reset for the Imperial Federacy. Although in the current timeline I'm not sure if Khendon is ressurecting his pursuit of improving technology or not. I'd suggest checking with him though, or perhaps he'll catch this post.

If you can't get a hold of anyone I'd suggest setting up an RP where you get in contact with some Imperial R&D persons. Currently our R&D operations are at a stand still but I think a few people would be interested in creating something. If I get the time I'd gladly offer my assistance.

You may need to NPC one, Hart, if you dont' want to take your Jedi to an Imperial technician. ;)

Not all Imperials would rat out a Jedi, especially one who'd be paying well....

Well, Hartus isn't currently familiar with the distinctions between the Imperials and the Rebels, so he and the Imperials would not necessarily find each other threatening. But yeah... I don't think he has much money. So I guess it will likely be NPC.

My inactive character, Tony Maxwell, is, primarily, a droid inventor and technician. He has designed heavily armored droids before and it would be reasonable for him to be able to do something about your armored suit. Currently Tony is in hiding after he escaped from the Empire after his arrest for spreading rebellion doctrine.

So, that's an option for you.

I work as a Shipping and General Contractor/Black Market dealer out of port town. So, that's an option as an independant place to get materials and special items.

Cool, thanks for the info you guys. Seems like Tony and Smitty are the two at least semi-active options I will have to look up when I have the chance. Thanks, I'll probably look you two up down the line :)
