If you aren't watching the history channel right now, I highly suggest it. There's a show on that is comparing ties between Star Wars and world history.

I only stumbled on the last twenty minutes or so and didn't get to record it. (the one afterwards was good too, I actually phoned my astronomy teacher and told her to watch it).

I'm really thinking about ordering the DVD, I really enjoyed the part of it I did get to see. Star Wars and History are two things I'm really interested in and the two together.........joygasm.;)

I wasn't able to watch the show when it premiered Monday night, but I did watch the rerun last night. It was excellent :thumbup. The array of people that they got to comment on it was stunning, in a way. Everyone from Kevin Smith and Stephen Colbert to Dan Rather and Tom Brokaw to Nancy Pelosi and Newt Gingrich. Wow.

I TIVOed it the night it premiered, it was excellent. I hear that the DVD will have some bonus neat bonus material. I liked that they presented a wide variety of personalities to comment and examine Star Wars. Everyone from Linda Ellerbee to Newt Gingrinch.
