Are your registered users allowed to create new templates for use at the wiki for their character/user pages? I thought to ask ahead of time prior to adding my character bio and maybe doing something to my user page. If that's okay. Are there any "rules" to needing to be here and active in RP for a certain amount of time before doing that? I don't want to step on any toes.

You're more than welcome. :) The only rules we have on Wiki use at the moment are here: http://sw-fans.net/forum/showthread.php?t=16258 but they're fairly straightforward and not linked to how long one's been a member. :)

Thank you :) I did include the templates (a couple of them) in the template category for others to use too, with instructions included.
