Nifty to see. I wouldn't call it "unedited", just "rough". Really rough. If you really need a reason to watch this, then I'll tell you that it shows Han smooching a girl! What a scoundrel.

You can find that clip on the Behind the Magic CD-ROM, which unfortunately, I believe, is long out of print. :(

It also included a version of a scene familiar to anyone who has heard the Star Wars radio adaptations, of Luke talking to his friends at Toshi Station and spying the battle between the Emperial Star Destroyer and the Tantiv IV. I think it also had a scene with Luke talking to Biggs about the Rebellion, plus a rather scratchy clip of the Treadwell droid explosion while Luke is attempting to repair a moisture vaporator.

Of course, as many of us know, when publicity started for SW, the press where quick to compare it to American Graffitt, something he wished to avoid, so these scenes were quickly cut. We're unlikely to see them again of any oficial relese, but it was nice having them.

i I have the disk somewhere; maybe I can rip them off of it..
