Watch the teaser trailer and wonder how we moved from Raccoon City to the Wild Wild West. :huh

This looks like your bog standard action fare. It looks as woefully misjudged as its predecessor. Personally, I can't believe that there isn't one studio executive who spoke out during script meetings and said: "Hey guys, that Resident Evil 4 game was really quite incredible. Should we not take this thing in a similar direction and, you know, actually make a film worth something."

Alas.

Dunno why they don't just get Shinji Mikami to write a treatment for something that will actually turn out to be a good story.

Agh, the first was an atrocity, the second was like cutting yourself on bailing wire and then jumping into a pool of lemon juice, salt and tequila, how much must we suffer that they're making a THIRD!

The first was halfway good. The second was horrible beyond words, and the third actually looks like it might be worse.

Why oh why couldn't they keep the feel of the first movie. Everything else has been utter trash.

can't say I'm interested at all after watching the trailer....and most of it is just going "look at how dead the town looks and oooo we're in space then ooo, we'll show you 20 seconds of action, wooooo!"
