He is our new Chief of Alliance Special Operations, the reckless chain-smoking gun-toting shoot-first-ask-questions-later cousin of Alliance Intelligence. Intel and SpecOps will be working together closely, no doubt, on missions in the future - in spite of their differences. While you're here, take some time to readup on SpecOps: http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Alliance_Special_Operations :)

I was going to have him be a plot device, but why keep him to myself?

Yes, share him. We need all the kick-you-know-whats-it guys (and gals) we can get.

I think The Black Man might be the ONLY "black man" in the entire Rebel Alliance. :p
The name's nothing special, but I like him. :D

All of the canon characters died in the Battle of Endor. Vader, Luke, Palpatine, Lando, Han, Leia, Chewie.

I knew about most of those, but...Lando?
He's too charming and suave to die!

How can a SpecOps guy be charming?
Unless blaster-shots to the face are considered charming these days...:\

I agree.
:D Plus, the Black Man seems a little stuck-up so far :P
I think an interesting point has been made...why isn't there more variety in the Star Wars galaxy where humans are concerned? I mean, you don't see many people with Asian-like features in Star Wars...wouldn't there be even MORE a variety?
