So...the WB is re-making the Thundercats in a new, modern light. The new series will feature the Thundercats in a major city on Earth (I'm betting on Los Angeles or New York) as a rock band that fights a new, winged Mum-Ra. Snarf is the leader, and the Eye of Thundara is now multiple Eyes for multiple Cats.

Am I the only person who's screaming "DO NOT WANT" at the computer monitor? I feel like a piece of my childhood has been somehow cheapened. Maybe I'm too conservative, but this really, REALLY looks like a bad idea.

I don't trust it to be a joke, even if it's an old article or a website meant for humor. >_< After Loonatics, Sonic Underground, and the 3D Voltron, stuff like this scares me.

Who cares? It isn't exactly like Thundercats was the most serious, ironclad series anyways?

Ok, I've been searching around for a bit, and all the links that I've found about this are pretty old.

It's easy to just not watch something though. I mean, I like Star Wars and manage to not care that the Holiday Special, Droids Cartoon, Ewoks series, or any of that other crap exists.

I have both the Droids and the Ewok cartoons on DVD. I do believe I'm going to make you watch them :)
