Can someone explain to me the WoD aspect of this community? Mostly any information you have will be helpful, pertaining to clan leaders, clan set up, that kind of thing - I already am familiar with the WoD creation, though I would like to know the specifics for this community. I've noticed a lot of the links in the explanations are dead. And thinking about it again, I think I'd like to know some more before I commit to anything.
Thanks.

I'm not sure what exactly you're asking, but I shall attempt to answer anyway.
WoD roleplaying takes place in the General Roleplaying (http://www.sw-fans.net/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=287) forum. Most of our gathered information about our paticular take on the WoD is in the WoD Rping Directory (http://www.sw-fans.net/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=349) or in the SW-Fans Wiki (http://swfans.pbwiki.com/The%20World%20of%20Darkness). Unfortunately our timelines, for WoD and the SW timeline, have been frelled up - none of the links actually go to threads anymore and I haven't had the time to sit down and really fix that yet. Yet. I will, someday. ;)
There are two main areas of the WoD world where roleplaying is taking place - Chicago US (http://swfans.pbwiki.com/North%20America), and London UK (http://swfans.pbwiki.com/The%20United%20Kingdom). Right now the roleplays are continuing pretty slowly, but there is still very much an active interest in the senarios going on.
If you want to play a vampire, you're given pretty much free reign to create whatever you'd like with whatever sort of background you want, within reason. You cannot play a Kindred character who is more powerful than 6th generation - but the character can be as old as you'd like. If you want to rule a city or a country, all we ask is that you clear it with the rest of the WoD rpers first. :)
You can play any sort of character from WoD - mage, ghost, Kindred, Garou, demon, changeling, etc.
Right now in our RP things are sort of centering around London as the demonic Baali are trying to open a portal to hell and bring forth all sorts of nasty things, forcing a momentary truce between Archbishop Gordislava of Moscow (who is in London trying to gain a foothold for the Sabbat in traditionally Camarilla territory) and the Prince of London, Gabriel Rodermark. The Camarilla Prince of Paris and a few Immortals who are his allies are coming to London to help as well.
In the US, a few Garou and a Corax are trying to solve a mystery involving were-sharks. :)

That answers most of my query, thank you.
