There's a part of me that would love to see the ongoing adventures of Han, Chewie, Luke, Leia, etc...but I am SO glad that Ford turned this down. I can't imagine the travesty and the mockery that Lucas would have made. In a way, I actually think this is a bogus story because I just can't believe that Lucas would venture in to this territory again...

Sounds bogus to me - Lucas has always flatly said there will be no more SW movies. Of course he may change his mind on that, but it doesn't sound all that likely to me.

If it is real though, I can't imagine this at all --- I can't picture Ford as Solo anymore. He absolutely defined the role in his youth, but that was then - this is now...

Yeah - I'm much happier about the prospect of Indiana Jones IV than Star Wars VII. By the age Solo would be (based on the actor), he's gonna be commanding ships and stuff, not galavanting around in the Falcon. He's General Solo, not the young fly-boy smuggler anymore. Personally, if I wanted to watch a film with someone commanding a Starship, I'd go grab one of the Star Trek DVDs off my shelf.

It's most likely a bogus story. Lucus wouldn't want to do another Star wars movie...no way.

Personally, I wish they wern't making another Indiana Jones.

He's 64. Indiana Jones can not go cracking whips and saving the day at the age of 64. What'll the movie be about, finding his false teeth and medication when he drops them down a hole? He has to go grab a flashlight first, maybe? The flashlight is out of batteries, makes for some plot developement?

Just no.

LOL that is my thought. If they could have made the move ten years ago it wouldn't bother me but now I just don't know.
