Ice Climbing is an awesome winter sport to watch. Err, they're trying to get climbing included in the Olympics. That would make me actually watch.

Hockey is another great sport to watch... well, when there's fighting.

But, yes, that thing with the sticks where those people whack the whatever thinga-ma-jigger is a very boring sport. Then again, I can't stand baseball, either.

Slalom is cool, but just going down hill or the jumping it's not that great. The short distance speed skating is exciting, the long distance stuff is quite boring.

Too bad paintball isn't that much fun to watch... You just see them running at eachother and suddenly get hit with a burst of color.

Now, playing paintball is great :) I love running through the woods (clearly not talking about speedball) and attacking bunkers and so forth. Lots of fun.

Paintball in the snow could get ugly. Frozen paintballs are just dirty and mean.

I guess. I never played it seriously, so I never really went up against anybody with Angel guns. Usually it was a bunch of dudes with Tippman 98's or something very generic and no-frills. That's probably a good thing since we beat the crap out of those guns and ran them through unbelievable amounts of muck. Our speedball games were barely controlled, and a guy was just as likely to be tackled into a puddle of water and sawdust as they were to be "surrendered". It was more like the Bad News Bears of paintball in retrospect.

I went to school with a guy who was semi-pro, and that guy had like $3000 in guns at a bare minimum. It was impressive. I can't imagine being that serious about it, but hey, everybody needs a cool hobby.
