View Full Version : INTEL BRIEF: Meltdown

The Alliance is an desperate need of new coolant hydro-valves for its base on the superheated planet of Obas. If the valves don't reach the base in time, invaluable weaponry, data and medical supplies will melt and the bases personnel will burn to cinders! Agents are needed to infiltrate a small Imperial supply depot, steal a case of hydro-valves, return to Obas and install the valves before a full meltdown occurs. If you're interested in completing this mission, please reply to this thread. Only one or two agents are needed really. I'll be 'gamemastering' the thread, by playing various NPC roles.

I am interested in it if it has yet to be claimed.

No one else has stepped up to the plate, though ideally I'd like two people involved... I finally get around to posting missions and everyone has disappeared ^_^; typical, haha.

Perhaps one of the more experienced agents could go too. It would be sort of a training thread to get me back into the SWFans style of roleplaying. I have been out of the loop at TGC for a long time.

 My dear Director, darling. You have lost your mind.

I was cracking the whip upon Gray, unless you would like me do so upon you :yum

That's what I'm having the conflict over... whether to remain "professional" and allow you to whip the newbie, or dispense with all formality and request the same treatment for myself ^_^;

Well, it wouldn't be quite the same ;)

Well I'll gladly take the whippings.

If no one else is interested, I can just NPC an agent or two. I was going to have to NPC some characters anyway.

Is this still a go or is it scratched?

Dasquian Belargic
Jan 3rd, 2007, 08:29:15 AM
I don't see why it would be scrapped

Do you want me to start it or will you? I don't know how you operate around here.

Any chance of leaping in on this thread at the last minute? Still haven't actually managed to get an in-character post out yet. Lol. Still working on a couple of thread ideas, so I've not actually got anything started. :cry

Need a Shuttle Pilot, a former Imperial Scout, or a random Smuggler in the wrong place at the wrong time at all, by any chance? Tristan covers all three. Lol.

It's probably a bit late for you to join in with this one, but I can always come up with another idea for you? I have some sourcebooks with instant adventures that are ready to go.

That'd be great, yeah.

Thanks! :)

Alright, cool. I'll leaf through those in the morning and see if I can't find something interesting. Is there anything in particular you'd like to do? Recon, search and seizure, etc.

Tristan Tahmores

Something that'll draw on Tristan's skills as a Scout Trooper, and maybe as a technical whizz would be good, if you can manage it. Maybe Speeder Bike recon, or something like that, with a little search and seizure tacked on the end if I find anything good...if you could swing something like that, that'd be ace.

Need any Jawa assistance? Nilk has some mechanical prowess, and his results are (coughfullofaccidentscough) unmatched.

I'm already in a thread, but I'm overactive. Waaaay too much free time.

The more the merrier. :) Just don't touch anything on my ship. ;)

Just a thought, Dasquian: would it make things any easier if Tristan was a 'specter' on an Alliance Intelligence mission for this one? That's an easy way of involving our little hooded friend, and it saves needing to worry about what other military forces are going to be around, why Tristan is working "on his own", or anything like that.

A couple of NPC or player agents stuck on top should round of a mission team for most things: someone like that mysterious NPC of yours (Solarius) running an op with us as back-up works, especially if its an op that goes wrong, and we end up pulling off a rescue.

Forget Han Solo: this smuggler comes armed with a Jawa!

Grace Van-Derveld

Overactive you say? And you play a Jawa? :D

it fits ;)

Did anyone ever do this mission? If not, I think E/K may be interested in this. Maybe.

Make that a definite maybe.

Or just a definately. :p
