The Chronicle of Palleus; Part II

[Ceres Ewan]

"Dis soup id code!!" I grumbled and shoved the tray away as my man-servant quickly took it away. "Ged id ride dex dime!" I yelled hoarsely and blew my nose to try and clear it. It didn't help and I cursed to myself as my man-servant quickly left the room.

"Dab idiod!"

[Argos Ewan]

I left Palleus at the Inn and headed back to the Ewan Mansion an d quickly went up the stairs to my Dodya’s room and threw the door open to his room and stormed in. “Dodya! How dare you! Palleus just told me what you did to her, twice even! What makes you feel you have any right to treat her in that fashion?! She was my date and the only woman I’ve even had and cared for and you treated her like some peace of Bantha dung.”

I turned away from him and spun back around and screamed at him. “Your disgusting!”

[Ceres Ewan]

I was stunned as my eldest son came storming through into my room yelling. I tried to answer, but was overtaken by the need to sneeze. I grabbed an unused hanky and made use of it as I sneezed loudly, nearly popping my ear drums. I gave a hefty blow and then answered. "Whad are you dalging aboud?" I was finally able to ask.

[Argos Ewan]

I looked at Dodya and scowled at him. "Shut up! Don't you dare try lying to me! She's the most honest caring person anyone could ever meet.”

Now more furious than I had even been I turned away from him and headed toward the door. Just as I was about to reach for the door knob I quickly spun around and look at him. “You stay away from her, you hear me!“ Not seeing any response from him, I leaned over the foot of his bed and screamed at him again as I shook my fist at him. “I’ll kill you if I ever see you near her ever again!” I turned around and headed toward the door again.

[Ceres Ewan]

"Dow you jud hold od." I commanded. "Firsd ob all she camb to be...she'd dod who you thind she id." I said as I threw back my covers. "Ib odly thinging ob you." I said as I stood.

Before I had a chance to catch it, I sneezed freely and nearly fell.

[Argos Ewan]

After he spoke to me I heard all I was going to listyenm to anmd swiftly turned and pulled a blaster from under my tunic and fired it toward him and purposely missed him.

In his shock he quickly stepped backwards and fell down. "I mean what I said Dodya and the next time I won't miss you! I promise! You stay away from her!" I turned away and left his room.

[Ceres Ewan]

I couldn't believe that he had fired a weapon at me. This did not go over well and I knew exactly what to do to take care of this precarious situation. I hated to have to do this to my son, but he left me no choice. He was the key to keeping everything underwraps, I needed his support as much as I needed Jace's. I slowly got myself off the floor.

With a groan, I got back into bed, where the hell was my man-servant?!? "Fazzer, ged id here!" I commanded over my comm.

"Sir?" He asked as he quickly entered.

"Dwe hab a...a..." Frasier quickly handed me a hanky as I was taken by a sneezing fit. "Uhhhh," I groaned and rubbed my extremely sore nose. "Dwe hab a problemb. Ged by duards here, dow!"

"Of course, Sir. Right away." Frasier said as he scrambled out of my room.

"Argos...you will regred dwad you did, twast be..." My head pounded as I went into a new bout of sneezes. Once, I finished I lay back onto my pillows. "Dare id more den one bay do do dis and Ib albays comb oud on tob."

[Argos Ewan]

I left he mansion more furious than I had ever been in my life. Things just didn't seem right with my and my family and it was something I hope would change soon, but Dodya had finally pushed me beyond the brink of what I ever imagined things should be. How I reacted to him was wrong but my life was mine and he had crossed the line.

Knowing that this was not a good time to be at the mansion I decided to go back to see Palleus and let her know I had taken care of matters and that she wouldn't have any more problems.

When I got to her door at the Inn I knocked upon the door and waited for her to answer if she was here.
