I am going with the Chargers because I think they are the best team in the division. I know right now they will beat the Chiefs in a few weeks. Its not like I picked the Raiders to beat the Broncos last week :p

SD @ DEN
I picked SD, but Denver should win this game. Home team usually rules in this division and as good as LT is, he doesn't have good games in Denver. I think his career average there is less than 65 yards. But, SD is hot so I figured what the hell.

INDY @ DAL
This is probably Indy's toughest game in the second half. Dallas is actually favored by a point. A Dallas win wouldn't shock me. I'm going with Indy because Dallas's secondary has been getting toasted all season long. That's a brutal weakness if you're playing the Colts. The Cowboys need a big game from Julius Jones and more steady play from Romo to pull this one out.

most of the morning games were a bore, KC just took the lead over the raiders but man did they struggle against them

the one game I agonized over was the cincy game because I keep waiting for them to have a bounce back game but I went with the saints because they were at home

nice to see alexander carrying the ball again, even if his first attempt was for no gain

Yeah, he messed up. And Peyton Manning turned over the ball again, lol..

SF49ers are seemingly confused on the field. They actually play football. Unusual.

Well Denver struggled against them last week. Oakland has a very good defense, it is just there offense sucks. Also, Trent Green was very rusty and they didn't let him pass the ball much, but he led them to the winning score at the end. They need him back and this game shows that.

Wow...I think it might be okay to officially declare that the Niners don't suck anymore! :rollin

They're still a struggling team, no doubt about it, but goodness gracious, they're doing a lot better this year than they've done the last 2 or 3 years, that's for sure.

No comment about the game. One thing I will say is LT is the MVP right now.

jjwr
Nov 20th, 2006, 07:55:16 AM
LT is a freaking stud. 8 TD's his last 2 games, something silly like 18 in his last 6.

There were some incredible individual perforamces yesterday, Lee Evans has 2 83yd TD's on his way to 265yds total, Bree's passes for 510 yds, Ocho Cinco has 190yds and 3TD's, Gore rushes for 212, just incredible!

Colts were easily the worst 9-0 team ever, no doubt they are a quality team but a lot of those games have been ridiculously close, the Colts could easily be 6-3 right now, the Bills & Titans should have beaten them. I'm hoping their luck falls aparta nd they drop a few more and lose home field.

AFC is stacked, I would take the top 5 teams in the AFC over the Bears in the NFC, maybe even the 6th team if its in Arrowhead.

1. Colts
2. Bolts
3. Ravens
4. Pats
5. Bronco's
6. Chiefs

Sorry Dizzy, but it's now official. The Broncos defense is overrated. They've been exposed for 3 consecutive weeks now.

Gotta love the Raiders. They were so close to beating the Chiefs at Arrowhead and they find another way to lose a late lead. What a bunch of rejects.

Thank God I chose the Cowboys to beat the Colts otherwise this would have been another horrific week.

The week in review for my own tastes ^^

The Good - The Bears shutting out the Jets, The Patriots shutting out the Packers and the Cowboys giving the Colts their first lost :D

The Bad - The Falcons loosing :cry

The Ugly - The Denver's defense :mneh

Jedi Master Carr
Nov 20th, 2006, 05:44:09 PM
Denver's defense is defintely showing some leaks. They are having trouble stopping the run and seem vulnerable to the pass too. I agree with you jjwr the AFC is way ahead of the NFC. I think it will be tough for the Bears regardless of who they play. As for the Raiders, they need a QB, an OL and some good WR (I can't count Moss because he plays when he feels like it and Porter hardly plays because Art Shell doesn't like him). Their offensive problems are pretty big, IMO.

JMK
Nov 21st, 2006, 08:13:05 AM
Want proof that the AFC is better than the silly NFC? Using only week 11 as an example, the Pats shut out the Packers 35-0, the jittery, inconsistent Bengals creamed the Saints in N.O. 31-16, and although the Jets were blanked at home by the Bears, it was only 10-0. The mighty, mighty Titans beat the crap out of the Eagles (in Philly), Baltimore hammered Atlanta, the Dolphins got past the Vikings and the Jags beat the Giants. Overall, only the Cowboys and Bears, arguably the 2 best NFC teams won their games vs AFC opposition. The AFC leads the season series 28-20, not a landslide, but there's no question who the better conference still is.

jjwr
Nov 21st, 2006, 08:28:33 AM
Its too bad only 1 AFC team will make the Superbowl, if they shuffled the whole thing and mixed them up I wouldn't be suprised if the final 4 were 3/4 AFC teams and maybe the Bears making it in.

IMO the Colts are overrated, not saying the Cowboys are bad but the Colts were due and I'm really hoping they find a way to lose a few more games down the stretch.
