A lot of Crazy games today too. I think the Chiefs loss to the Dolphins will put Green back at starter. Huard played horrible. The Chiefs need Green back, IMO to make it to the playoffs. Huard did a good job in a temporary situation.

For the past 4 weeks the games have been SO incredibly hard to judge. So many upsets. I really think this has been the toughest stretch of games to call in years.

Finally, a Steelers victory! The Steelers overcame shoddy officiating and injuries to two starting DBs (Troy Polamalu, Deshea Townsend) to win a shootout with the help of a solid game by Ben (17/28 264 yds, 3 TDs) and a game-breaking performance by Fast Willie (22 carries for 214 yards and 2 TDs). Not only did Willie rip off two 76-yard runs, he showed great patience and strength on two short-yardage scoring runs!
With the way this season is going, it's just one game at a time. I'm going to savor this victory for now. The Steelers secondary definitely had some difficulties as Brees victimized their backup defensive backs. Hopefully they can heal up and regroup in the coming week. And hopefully they get some better officials in the game against the Browns.

Are you so insecure in your devotion to your team that you feel threatened by my taking pleasure in a single victory? ;)

I would call it more dislike in one team rather than insecurity with my own.

The Pats lost to the Jets? WTF? The Colts almost lose to the lowly Bills? KC falls to the Fins? The Falcons lay an egg at home against the Browns? Didn't get to watch many games this weekend. Missed out on a ton of upsets.

It just shows how unpredictable the NFL is. I did not see any of those crazy upsets.

I was watching some CFL playoff action on sunday for once, but we would flip back to a couple NFL games whenever possible. We couldn't believe what we were seeing in a lot of cases. I'm far too lazy to do the math, but I bet no one here has a stellar record in the past 4 weeks. This has been just crazy, and I guarantee gaming commissions and governments in charge of gambling are rolling in money because of this unpredictability.

Boy oh boy. I thought Randy Moss may have been turning a corner, turning in to at least a quiet player instead of a malcontent, but it turns out things are the same as always:
“Maybe because I’m unhappy and I’m not too excited about what’s going on. So my concentration and focus level tend to go down sometimes when I’m in a bad mood. All I can say is you put me in a good situation and make me happy, man, you get good results.”
Well, I hope you're in a good mood now Randall, because you basically just violated the #1 rule for pro athletes - that of trying your best and giving 100% on every play. In other words, he'll take the money, but he's not going to try all that hard or focus so much because he's unhappy. I wonder how he would react if Al Davis decided that he wasn't in a good mood and decided to stop paying 100% of Moss' paychecks? I bet Moss would have a problem with that.
Idiot. He rejoins T.O. in the loser category.
The league needs more guys like Marvin Harrison and Joe Jurevicus.

If I was Moss, I'd raise trouble too. You're on the downside of your career, playing in a system that was outdated before you were in college. He wants change. Whether it's a trade or a new O-cooridinator. If they had some offense, just imagine where this team could be.

It's one thing to be unhappy. It's another thing entirely to believe that you're above the team and can go public with these silly thoughts. A REAL pro athlete with any sense of pride and dignity would keep his trap shut. Actually, a real pro would actually give 100% on every play. Period.

He is the idiot who signed with the Raiders. They stunk when he signed with him, so what did he expect? I hope they get their butts kicked this weekend. Speaking of that game. Trent Green was named the starter for the Chiefs. I think he needs this game as a tune up. I am sure he is a little rusty.

No picks for Blade Ice and Tannis. Unless one of them happens to be Park Kracken. I don't who the hell that is. As fitting for usets, away picks gives them each a 10-4 mark. Ughh.

Not originally. He acted happy in the beginning because thats what you do. Who wants to be traded from a playoff team to a doormat? Seriously.
