I have been thinking of this for a while and here it is. It sounds like xmen 3 type but it is cool. The story goes that there is a rumor that a scientist who hates imortals for some reason (can be figured out later) is on the brink of a major discovery that will change the world, and it is a vaccine that if injected will reverse one's immortality but only for a short length of time making them vulnerable enough to kill. But the Vampire's and lycans and the immortals hear and are on the hunt for the man and his vaccine to try and destroy it.

Just a suggestion. What do you think?

One, if you mean for WoD, there are no 'Lycans' that is from the Underworld movies. Werewolves are not Immortal in this setting but can live for a longer time tho.

Two, Vampires and Immortals are two different breeds. Having a broad vaccine like that wouldn't be possible. If you limit to one or the other, then that might have merit.

oh sorry...that is accually better.

We could make it that the vaccine is only for vampires and then all the vampires will fight for the discovery, and then whoever holds the vaccine could hold control over others or destroy it. Wichever way we decide to spin it.

If you're referring to Immortals ala Highlander, their immortality is irreversible, except for beheading.

AFAIK, vampire immortality is also irreversible. The human body dies in the process of the change.

maybe you could tailor this as a disease instead that attacks Vamps? Yeah, it's been done before but at least that could more plausible. I'm not sure of the science behind WoD Vamps ^_^; but it's still blood ... and blood still has those pesky antigens and antibodies that can be messed with ;)
