The trailer is up now. The X-Large version of it doesn't seem to be loading at the moment, but the other two work fine. Enjoy! :D

Must see, must see! :crack

If it's released the way Shaun of the Dead was (ie, not to every cineplex in the world), I may have to drive a ways to see it, but I'll do it, I'll do it!!! :crack

Wait didn't you hate Super Troopers?

Yes. Don't even bother trying to compare them. Completely different kinds of humour, ie. American and British. And there's simply no room for contestation, the only similarity is that they're law enforcers.

Simon Pegg and Nick Frost, can they do no wrong? :)

Time to go rewatch my Spaced DVDs :D

I've seen some episodes of Spaced on BBC America, that's a funny show :thumbup.

And Bill Nighy is in Hot Fuzz, yay! :crack

Haha whatever guy. Everything I've seen of this is right up the same kind of comedic alley as Super Troopers. You've just got a silly bias ;)

No, Super Troopers was dreadful. Accept that I don't like it and move on. It was nothing but crass, abraisive, witless spoof rubbish with classic lines such as "It stinks like sex in here," which has everyone rolling in the aisles apparently. And this film is done with style and charm, I say 'is' as opposed to 'appears to be' because it's done by exactly the same team who made Shaun of the Dead. To be frank, they could be said to be the same kind of film, except one was made by Americans and one was made by Englishmen. And when it comes to comedy, anything involving Sacha Baron Cohen excluded, that is a difference of rather epic proportions for me.

Saw it tonight and I think it sits up there on par with Shaun of the Dead. Shaun is probably my favourite due to the subject matter but in terms of quality, Hot Fuzz stands equally tall. Not a single character or moment is wasted, and the comedy is of the standard we have come to expect from writer and director Edgar Wright and the duo of Simon Pegg and Nick Frost. I hope these three guys continue to make more excellent films together, they have such a magic touch. In their films, while the situations are often hilarious and outrageous, the characters have depth and are very believable and likeable. Again, the relationship between Pegg and Frost shines on screen. I won't spoil a thing but rest assured, there are so many absolutely brilliant moments of comedy(some only Brits will get, I'm sure) that will have you wanting to buy the ticket for your next screening as soon as you leave the cinema.

Admittedly, at the back of my mind I was a little apprehensive about Hot Fuzz, simply because I wanted it to rate with Shaun of the Dead. This film matches its predecessor blow for blow and delivers on all fronts. Now how's that for a slice of fried gold? Enjoy!

There's nowhere near here that's playing it. I think the closest place is... 1.5-2 hour drive away, and by the time I make the drive, I'd have wasted movie money on gas. *shakes fist*

I know the feeling...that's why I was so relieved that it opened a lot closer to me this weekend, otherwise I wouldn't be seeing it until it comes out on DVD.

It's very, very funny and entertaining, I loved it. Not quite as good as Shaun of the Dead (although I don't know if anything ever will be :)), but still highly recommended! :thumbup

I finally saw it!!! :dance

Loved it. Excellent movie. Must see. Again.

The only downside to the movie was that I was sitting in the second to the front row and so most of the fast cuts/blurry action made my head hurt a little. :uhoh

BY THE POWER OF GREYSKULL you should see this movie. ;)
