I hate the Yankees with a passion, but this is still sad news.

I have to admit, the first thing I thought when I heard the news that a Yankee pitcher had flown into a building was, is there any chance he was so despondant over the fact they weren't in the playoffs that he committed suicide? In a way, I hope that wasn't the reason, because if it is, he took an innocent person along with him. I wonder if we'll ever really find out just why and how this all happened.

I woke up yesterday to my friend saying "a plane hit a building in New York". I thought "not again..." :(

That's a pretty crappy way to spend your postseason. Poor guy.
