Seriously, am I the only lunatic excited that this most spectacular of holidays is not far off? Halloween is a huge deal for me so I tend to get excited early! ;)
Anyone else started making plans / getting idea's yet?
I know I am not the only one who still dresses up!

Its the hubby's birthday so i'm still tossing around the idea of having a party for him at our house. Depends on if we get the pool table felted in time, I suppose.
Oh, he doesn't like birthday parties. But my family always has birthday parties - it doesn't feel like a birthday without one. I suppose it's coming up fast so I better decide! If anyone has cool Halloween birthday ideas let me know. :D

Hmm... that sounds too involved. ^_^; Usually you need a cast of characters for that sort of thing, and I think that the party will be on the small side.

I will most likely be babysitting, and if I am, I may be taking my two year old cousin to go trick or treating for candy she can't eat yet (but I can :mischief)
My dog already has a costume though, he's a dinosaur :D

Either we're going to have a costume party, or we're not. If we're having a costume party I think we need a theme. Like... zombies. Or pirates. ARRRR!

Oooooh themed parties are fun! :)
Mom's birthday is Halloween, so we always have a party too. We've slacked the last few years so I think this year we should do something fun. I don't exactly live in a neighborhood, so we always wind up taking the kids downtown to trick or treat. Kind of boring. :( They are used to their huge neighborhood in FL so mountain life is a bit slow for them! :lol So I think this year something new is in order.

I wonder if I should work at the haunted house again this year. I made young'ns cry last year:( . But I also made elders scream and go running.

I really want to do a zombie pub crawl. I think the pub crawl society at Uni are thinking about it, so fingers crossed!

The only thing I like to do anymore at Haloween besides carving pumpkins is dressing up as Abominable or a werewolf, hunkering down somewhere, then jumping out yelling and screaming at some young kids passing by and scare them all the way back home.

I went to work as a rabbit last year. Dont know about this year though.
I usually carve the pumpkin in my house. I love going to the pumpkin patch. We usually go just before dark as the light is fading and usually fog rolls in. We have to find the perfect pumpkin with a flashlight mucking about in gumboots in the muddy patch. Its completely awesome. They give free hotchocolate or apple cider and coffee there too.
I love this time of year.

My b/f wants to be Nacho Libre! I think it'll be hilarious...he's going to wear the wrestler outfit under some friar robes...I have no idea what I'm doing...

See I would love to do something to scare people this year with Karl but...the last time we did that a youngster dropped a wooden lampshade on Karl's head. It was pretty much the funniest thing ever, the kids ran a half a block before coming back and by the time they were back I was still in the midst of my laughing fit. Funny stuff... :lol
So, instead I plan to have a party on the Saturday before Halloween. YAY!

Jenny that is mighty smexy, if I may say so myself.. :yum
I'm altering my Ren Fair wench costume a bit and going pirating with my sister and my son. Haven't bullied the husband into a costume yet, but I will. My littlest son is going to be a skeleton, but I'm thinking to keep with the theme I'll make him an undead pirate or something, lol. :D

Who needs a costume when black lipstick and eyeliner takes care of everything?

Is a group of teenagers looking like this scary enough? It scares me everytime I see myself like that (I'm on the far right)

Add some studded belts, some sleeve tattoos... and we've got ourselves a screamo band. Now that is terrifying!

Next time don't use only eyeliner, but use proper face paint - it'll be easier to clean off. ;)

I bet it is. Eyeliner is a bugger to get off. I can't see why girls do it to themselves, it was downright torture for me. I had professional girls to put it on and take it off for me. But I can only be stabbed in the eye so many times before it begins to sting, and get annoying. Took us hours to het all the stuff off our face that we had on in that pic. Bleh...

Next time put on the eyeliner yourself ;) its much easier than having someone going at your eye with a pencil. :x
