I went to go see the movie Flyboys the other day with a friend. It rates in my opinion a 'pretty sweet' movie, with a good blend of action and romance sidled in with a little bit of comedy. For one thing, apart from the Zeppelins which I already knew about (due to their application in naval warfare, which I study a lot of), I got a pretty good education on WW1 aircraft and air-warfare.
My favorite scenes of the movie, well how can you not like an exploding Zeppelin. Some of the scenes where the pilots were shot down were cool and gruesome at the same time. An exploding Zeppelin is always cool, and the way the one guy took out the Black Falcon was pretty smart. Honorless deed for honorless deed, LOL. Who says we have to use the pistols on ourselves? LOL
