As many of you know, Leten and I are engaged. We have been since last year when he proposed to me, making me very happy.
Now, I've been feeling sick for the past week and I finally got fed up with it today so I went to see a doctor. The doctor and I talked for awhile and she told me why I'm feeling sick.
She told me I was pregnant. So, come about late May, I'm going to be giving birth. I'm very happy and excited about it, though I will admit, it did come as a bit of shock since this is not a planned pregnancy.

Oh wow, congratulations. Out of curiousity, is the expected birth date before or after the wedding date?

Congrats!!
Though ashamedly, I must admit that up until now, I thought you were a chick, Leten ^_^;

The tentative wedding date was going to be June 24, 2007, and the kid will be born before then. But seeing as the EDD is late May, we've decided to postphone the wedding until 2008 so we are getting married after the kid is born.
As for thinking Leten was a chick, he's tried to get it so people aren't sure of his gender.

Well he did a fantastic job :)
Are you guys going to find out as soon as you're able what gender the baby is, or are you going to go the surprise route and wait until the baby is born?

That topic is still up in the air, and as of yet at least I am still undesided. There are good arguments for both sides, though I have a fealing that, knowing my own personality, after that histarical voice in the back of my head stops trying to tell me this in not really happening, and it gives my mind over to the rest of me that really wants this, and is very happy about this, then I'm sure I will most likely come to a conclution on many things..
As for people thinking that I was a girl. That just meens I was very good at RPing my many female characters. Whatever character I was posting as I was trying to come across as being the gender of the character I was using, and answer questions in ways to not confirm or denine my gender. I'm glad I did well at it. :)

Thanx everybody. I've been kinda tired lately due to working and all as well as dealing with morning sickness, but I am managing to make due.
I'm quite looking forward to when the baby is born.

Congrats Natia & Leten!
I'm quite looking forward to when the baby is born.
Is that a looking forward to having a baby? or Looking forward to having the discomfort of being pregnant to stop? Because if it's the last one, it will get a lot more uncomfortable before the kid is born.
Just wondering, what are the two of you hoping for? a boy or a girl?

I'd have to say both. I don't like feeling sick as much as I am from the morning sickness. As for what we're hoping for, I know I'll have to get back to you on that since my mind hasn't had time to think about that yet.

I'll bet you that it will be a girl... 100% guarentee. Everyone but me is having girls it seems. All my friends irl, everyone I know on the net, and my ex. So yeah, if its a boy I'll be shocked. lol
And I'm not psychic... >.> just guessing... *shifty eyes*
Boys are fun though... til they get destructive. When they pee on people that annoy you its great. My son peed in my ex's(his father's) mouth once. HAHA. But... I want a girl cuz its so hard to find clothes for boys. Wherever you go its al about girl clothes in every store. The boy section is so teeny tiny. So hope for a girl unless you wanna search all over for clothes that will fit properly cuz they disappear like hotcakes. Never enough in stock for boys. :\ So as soon as you find out if it is a boy, then start getting as much as possible. Save the reciepts just in case, but get what you can so you dont end up running from store to store frantic that your bundle of joy is about to outgrow their clothes superhero style by ripping their old stuff at the seams. O.o My son's done it...
Morning sickness, something I can suggest that got rid of mine are these things:
Warm or Cold Bath, depending on how ya feel at the moment.
Lollipops
Crackers
Beware getting stuck working when ya get real awful. I had to open the store once and was so badly sick that I barfed several times just before leaving home. Tried calling in but no one would answer cuz they knew I more than likely didnt wanna come in. I ended up spending the day curled in a ball crying on the floor in the office trying not to puke again. o.o Try to find out what makes you fell better before that happens to you. It sucks.

Ginger is good for morning sickness, so find a prenatal vitamin with ginger in it and it should help, at least a little. There's really no 'cure' for morning sickness, you just have to tough it out through the first three months and then it goes away.
Some women get morning sickness really bad and puke all the time, others hardly get it at all. Most are somewhere in between, I believe.

Yeah no real cure, but some women have ways of making it standable. Not all though. I've heard of ginger though, but could never find anything with that in it. >.<

Well, got a bit of an update for those of you that are interested. I went in for my first prenatal check-up today and the baby and I are healthy.
But that's not what has gotten me so excited. Leten and I got to hear our baby's heartbeat today. It's a bit on the early side and our doctor didn't think we would get to hear it so soon, but he decided to try anyways and it was absolutely amazing.

Morning sickness, hunny? Aww. I didn't have to deal with that. Fortunately, my stomach likes me. Ooh, I tell you, when munchkins smile for the first time...it's such a thing to look forward to. It still gets me, even two months after the first event of it.
*Squeeee*
Tis a most happy thing.

Congrats! This is wonderful news.
Just a note to all the women - morning sickness does not always go away after three months. Morning sickness can occur throughout the entire pregnancy, not at all, decide to show up during the second trimester instead of the first, etc etc.
Lil is right. Ginger helps ease it, it won't cure it. Sipping ginger ale is another good choice.
Let us known if you get any real funky cravings ;)

Do you feel gross in your own skin yet? I can't stand myself right now, I just feel grungy all the time, even after a shower. My girlfriend said that she was the exact opposite though, she felt extremely attractive and voluptuous when she was pregnant.

As for cravings, I have been as of yet, very lucky to not get them. And to top it all off, my morning sickness seems to be going away. If I'm lucky my baby won't punish me like I did to my Mom and have morning sickness for all 9 months, well 8 months since I was a month early.

Well, it's been awhile since I've said anything about the baby here, so I thought that I would give a quick little update on how things are going. Baby and I are very healthy and Leten is really happy.
At our last doctor's appointment, we heard the baby kicking and today we had our ultrasound appointment. We got lots of pictures as well as finding out that we are having a little boy.

We don't have a name picked out yet. But I do know for a fact that we will have a name decided upon before our son is born.
