Ok, some people may say we have horrible taste in movies, but dammit, we LOVE these flicks!

List the movies critics or others panned but YOU adore!

For me:

8 Legged Freaks
Waterworld
The Postman
There are more, I'll add them to the thread as I remember them. :D

Cutthroat Island
Spaced Invaders
Chain Reaction
Python
To Wong Foo, Thanks for Everything, Julie Newmar

Van Helsing and Underworld are the only two that spring to mind. I probably like a lot more, without realizing that people generally regard them as terrible ^_^;

Darth McBain

Two of my guilty pleasures are Krull and John Carpenter's They Live. Both movies are definitely B-listers, but there's something about each that I love.

Ok for some reason I thought that "Evolution" was "Underworld" - and I'm not sure why. I didn't think that we could classify Underworld as a horrible movie. ;)

But, I loved Evolution too! ^_^; I also adore Lake Placid. :D

A-ha! I forgot Tank Girl! I don't care what anyone says, I love that movie.

As for Postman, I seem to remember enjoying that one, though it's been so long since I've seen it. I'll have to go buy it sometime.

See, Tank Girl was the only film that came into my head that I could add to this list but then I thought, "No! If I like it, it's not a horrible film, so there!" So I didn't do it.

But yes, I absolutely love Tank Girl.

Can't say I'm fond of many of these flicks, but I do love Flash Gordon and Mom and Dad Save the World. Two very under appreciated comedies. Because any big budget film starring Sam Jones must be considered a comedy.

DMDWP was such a different way to approach filmmaking, and in my opinion fell to the wayside for alot of people, sadly. Doesn't mean it's cringe-worthy, but alot of people I know haven't even heard of it and give me funny looks whenever I mention it. I suppose it's one of those 'aquired tastes' movies.
