I just rewatched Jurassic Part and The Lost World, and I'm planning on watching Jurassic Park 3 again in the very near future. You may have heard they're planning to do another Jurassic Park movie, and there have been a few rumors about what the plot would be.

But I figure we can figure it out ourselves. So, create your own plot for Jurassic Park IV. THINGS TO INCLUDE (use most if not all):
One character from the first movie to be the Hero
Two or more characters from the first movie to have cameos
One or Two children to be in peril AND who also can save the day
One semi-plausible reason for the Hero to revisit Isla Surna OR
One inhabited city to be overrun by dinosaurs
One plot point from the books by Michael Crichton that was never put into either Jurassic Park OR The Lost World
AND last but not least, one new dinosaur we've never seen in a movie before.

Lex, I doubt they could ever get Ariana Richards back, since she has now gone into a career as artist. Maybe get some big name young actress like Kiera Knightly to play her.
Two or more characters from the first movie to have cameos Ian Malcolm and Dr. Alan Grant. I think they should have more than cameos though. I would like to see both be main characters helping Lex.
One semi-plausible reason for the Hero to revisit Isla Surna OR
One inhabited city to be overrun by dinosaurs I think they should attack the mainland. I think the U.S is too far though I would say some city in Costa Rica to make the story more plausable.
One plot point from the books by Michael Crichton that was never put into either Jurassic Park OR The Lost World I would want the finale plot point in Lost World when Malcolm discovered the dinosaurs were all dying out from something the scientists and done wrong.
AND last but not least, one new dinosaur we've never seen in a movie before.

Well, it's following Timmy, because by now he is the only one left alive. At the beginning of the movie, you see his sister on her death bed tell him about the "Sunken Island" (idea Crichton wouldnt think of). This Island had a dinosaur sooo vicious on it that it sunk. So, now Timmy along with Jeff Goldblum's daughter from the second movie and Timmy along with Hammond (he never dies because hes immortal duh) and they go to said "island' where they Snorkleasorous. The dinosaur managed to get back to Houston where it ravages the city. Timmy builds a time machine and goes back 60 years and then he makes sure Hammond doesn't build Snorkeleasorous (Snorkeleasorous was specially built with a laser cannon to beat all the other super dinosaurs.) Timmy saves the day.

All I know is they need to have that chameleon dinosaur from TLW book, because that thing was creepy as hell.

But I agree 100%, that dinosaur was as creepy as hell and needs to be in the movie. :D

They were carnotaurs (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carnotaurus), but they had the ability to seamlessly blend in with their surroundings, and even velociraptors were afraid of them. Dun dun dunnnn. They MADE the book.

Ok as to the 'real' plotline... the rumor is that Costa Rica will be attacked by dinosaurs and that Lex will be the main character, so Carr gets points for coming out with that right off the bat. ;)

Oh, one rule I forgot in the first post *adds it in now* is that you should include at least one if not two children to be in peril and also save the day.

Cool I had a feeling about Lex. Costa Rica just makes a lot of sense to me. Not sure who they will get to play Lex. I think Knightly is getting too big for this part. So 20-25 year old blonde actresses. The only I can think of off hand is Leelee Sobieski. There might be someone better though.

*Kimchi and Kamala, a African boy and girl, the girl is kidnapped by one of the dinos, and the boy leads his tribe to victory.

*1 year after Movie 3: A new dino park is built in Africa, and comparisons are made in a zoo between the old dinos and the species of Africa. But the dinos escape. 10 years later, it's a Eco-war between the ancient and the wilds of Africa.

I can tell you right now, with no fear of being proven wrong, that even Pode's idea for Jurassic Park IV is better than what they've actually come up with. No offense Pode. ;)

Bloody-Disgusting learned this weekend that Universal Pictures has officially begun casting for Jurassic Park IV (http://www.bloody-disgusting.com/film/1870), which will film in Kauai, Hawaii later this year! Laura Dern confirmed her return to the franchise as Dr. Ellie Sattler here (http://www.bloody-disgusting.com/news/8604) as Sam Neill will NOT return. We're told that the film is about the government who has trained dinosaurs to carry weapons and use them for battle purposes. Based on the I can now safely declare that this franchise has entered 'ridiculous sequel mode'. Watch for more news soon.
