I almost got kicked out the Breaking Benjamin Concert today...

Ok. We had this concert near me today. The bands present were Soil, Dropping Daylight, Souls Harbor, Staind, Breaking Benjamin, and Evens blue.

After some effort I got to the front at the stage b4 my favorite band (Breaking Benjamin) got on. It was wild. Beer was goin' every where, people were body surfing and mosh pitting. Very typical rock show...

..it turned bad when this guy tried to pull me and my date into the mosh session. The cops had been called already and people were told anyone moshing or surfing would be kicked out because it was getting out of hand really fast.

The cops show up and I am tryin' to keep out the group so I don't get kicked out. One of the guys grab me, and I pushed him off. Then he grabbed my girl and tried to pull her in. Then it got ugly.

I punched him in the face till the cops pulled me off. I busted his nose, and lip open. The hauled him and like 10 other people off. The cop was about to give me the whole shabang. I was soooo going to jail.

Then my date started 'cryin' saying she was so scared, and her being so small would have been hurt if that guy pulled her in. That God Brandon was there..ect. I guess he was touched or something and let me slide with a "Don't get to rowdy again.." After he left my date let me know she was faking


The lession I learned today.....have your date cry to cops if you are in trouble. It just may work.

You should've just rushed the pit and headbutted people until you had to be taken to the ER for stitches.

At least thats what I did the last time I went to a concert with a pit (Adema, 3rd Strike, and some other band, years ago).

Nothing like ordering a double of bourbon while unknowingly bleeding from cranial lacerations :)

You crazy moshers and your mindless violence. The last pit I was in was at a DragonForce gig, and I was in there for about... 2 seconds. Lots of huge (width and height), sweaty men dressed as vikings, waving around pints of bitter and plastic lightsabers... terrifying :uhoh

Dragon Force is pretty good. i feel jipped that I didn't get to go to a conert this year. The big one I wanted to go to this year was Band Camp hosted by a local radio station.

Bands Present: Three Days Grace, Deaf Pedestrians, Dope, Flyleaf, Crossfade, Hinder, Staind, Wicked Wisdom, Nonpoint, Hurt, A New Revolution, Everything at Once.

I generally find moshing to be completely stupid, but thats because I go to concerts to listen to music.

I am the same way. I went to listen to the band and have a bit of fun. People were leavin' th epits with noses, lips, and eyes busted up to the point of many many stitchs.

I got WAY to many "Almost got arrested" stories. I get in way to much trouble.

I got knocked down at an Alien Ant Farm show once, because two dorks were trying to mosh and they bumped into a guy, who bumped into the girl standing next to me, who bumped into me...and I didn't have anyone standing next to me so I fell down. ^_^;

A friend of mine nearly got crushed in a mosh pit last year, at Leeds Festival. During the Queens Of The Stone Age set, a big group fell sideways and caused a domino effect. My friend just happened to be near the end of the falling line, so ended up with a big pile of people on top of him. He sprained his ankle and got knocked unconscious, and had to be crowd-surfed out :uhoh

I don't have any stories of injury myself. I tend to keep out of the pit... I just stand somewhere in the middle, dancing ^_^;
