I like Dalamar's personality and devotion to the Queen. He's almost obsessed with her as much as he is with Salem, just in a different way. He respects those he deems deserve it, but I have the feeling that his alliance with LD, no matter what he says only runs so deep. At first he seemed to be blindly devoted to her, but perhaps her recent escapades have him worried about what she's going to do next.

I think he's a great character in the mix of KA. The only thing I'd tweak is his backstory. ;)

I think Dalamar is a great foil for Salem. They almost represent two sides of the same coin, at least in my mind - Salem as the political power, and Dalamar as the military power. Perhaps one day they'll lock swords, but until then I am quite happy to watch them shoot sniping comments at one another when they pass in the palace hallways ;)
