I know I haven't posted here in a little while, but I thought I would post here, asking for help with a good cause.

I'm posting this to help a person I know, who is Rasing money for Cops for Cancer, Tour de Rock.

Through fundraising initiatives law enforcement officers raise money to support children living with cancer by helping fund pediatric cancer research and Canadian Cancer Society programs and services that help children.

To Help Raise money for these cops that are riding bicycles across the entire length of Vancouver Island, this friend of mine, if his donation goal is met, is going to shave his head bald, on public television, and donate the hair, inorder to make wigs for the children who have lost their hair due to cancer, along with 4 others of his Co-workers. So please Help with a donation!

The money is for a good cause, Helping children live through Cancer.... also watching my friend shave his head on TV is a bonus :) ... He's started donations already. Real names do not need to be posted, you can put what you want under the OTHER option, or post a donation under your own name, or anonymous. :)

We all thank you in advance:)

If you want more information or want to make a Donation...

That's cool - but I thought your hair had to be at least 12 inches long before you could donate it. When I had my hair chopped short a few years ago, I looked into donating it to a similar organization and your hair had to be 12 inches long in order to donate it.

But still, a very good cause. Good luck. :)

Well, they have done this before, and apparently for this organization it only needs to be 10 cm (aprox 4.5 inches) so he has enough hair to do it. :)... ether way it really is the money that they need for the research.
