It's the con this weekend so I've been preparing for it. :) I had pages to letter, boxes to go through and been working alot. Not to mention doctor visits!

So... I'm scarce! probably be on, if I'm not fried, Friday, Sat and Sun night ... but don't hold me to that. Working the Con is much more of a pain then having fun and running around =^_^=

edit - forgot to mention it was the Wizard World Chicago Comicbook convention!

Thursday - Preview night. Didn't sell crap but :lol dork Lance locked his keys in the car while running ... The story grows more insane as the local police department refused to jimmy the lock for fear of being sued AND has no waiver :| oy

Friday - Got to talk to our artists who have become dear to me ^^ They are very nice people and got to see alot of familar people from the past! Also, got to meet a person I've only known online from City of Heroes, who happens to live in Chicago AND does a comic book! I picked up his books!

Comic wise I picked up Artesia: Besieged, third short story thus far for the series. It's written, drawn, colored, inked etc... all by Mark Smylie. The man is brillant and the world he created is so dense that he made a roleplaying game out of it, for that is where he began as a table top RPer.

Another good one from the same studio as Mark is David Petersen that does Mouse Guard: A story about mice, set in a medieval setting and is serious! Fun stories for all ages :)

Scott and his wonderful wife Benita, were several tables down from us. Scott did the current short story up at Powerfulpress.com for Nocturnal Essence and did color for the cover art for Metadawn 1.1 I picked up his comics too!

Saturday - I ran around taking pictures :lol And actually pimped the booth. I sold stuff :D

I also picked up a book from our friends John Neal and Todd Fox .. Aym Geronimo! These two people have been slumming it in artist alley for as long, and even longer with Todd, as we have.

Sunday - Boring! We made a few sales but then gave away all of our Metadawn stuff for free. One guy loved us SO much that he wanted a picture and would put us all over his website :lol

Our con was cool because we had skateboarding for everyone! But we also had a wrestling ring set up for Ulitmate fighters who barely fought since all the geek boys wanted pictures with the hot wimmens. Okay, I can see that but there was barely any fights AND the damn ring took up so much space that the Small Press booths got jipped. Basically, a barely used ring that took up space for no reason. yay ...
