Taris. An Outer Rim planet with a long history. Once, long ago, completely covered in a vast city that rivaled Coruscant except that it is located in the Outer rim. But most of the buildings from that time were destroyed in the Jedi Civil War. For a long time, the city lie in ruins until efforts were made to rebuild the City Planet. In the current day of age, the city thrives as well as an outer rim city planet can. Much corruption exsists within the city but there are still those that try to make the best of it and all of its areas of life.
Lower City -
The crouds that wander the streets of the lower city of Taris are not what one would call the most gentle of company. Many mercenaries, bounty hunters, smugglers and other such beings of various race and status dodge from Cantina to Cantina, looking for work or a good drink. This is where many deals were made and this is where a deal was being made right now.
"So you wish for this person to be eliminated from the buisness so that your deal to sell and take over the company goes through?" a female voice rings out from a private booth in the back area of one of the cantinas. A black leather gloved hand rests around the glass before the woman, delicate but deadly none the less. Her other hand rests below the table, on her blaster just in case someone got a bit to interested in their topic of conversation.
The man across from her nodded his head. He was dressed in a buisness suit and looked very much out of place in the seedy cantina. He was definately from the Upper City. His eyes kept darting around like a scared mouse that has been dropped into a nest of snakes. This brought a slight smile to the woman's dark lips. She always did enjoy making men squirm. The man slid a data pad over to her along with a good deal of credits.
"The other half will come when the job is done," the man says. And with that, he stands and briskly walks out of the cantina. The woman at the booth pauses, looking over the data pad, sighs, and gathers her belongings, leaving a few of the credits on the table to pay for the drinks. She exits the cantina and heads to her hotel to prepare for the night.

Taris: Upper City -
The Upper city, were mostly humans lived, was alive with activity. The night was getting late though so people had started to head home. The upper class citizens of the city made their way home for the night so that they could get plenty of sleep for the job tomorrow. One of them, though, would never make it to his job the next day.
A dark silloet sat atop a building across from the condo building that this man was headed towards. She watched him walk into this building then sat back, waiting. She waited for atleast an hour, possibly more, just stareing at the window of her target. Finaly, she saw it. He had oppened his window and was lieing down in bed, just like what the man had said earlier that morning. A smirk fell across her face as the man laid down. Once again, she waited until she was sure he was asleep.
Half an hour later, she pulled out a long gun and set it up. She slowly took aim towards the window. She looked through the scope, stairing through it at the arm of the man. Her finger lay on the trigger until she had the perfect shot lined up. Finaly, she fired.
The tiny dart bullet sped through the air and hit the guy in the arm, injecting the man with its deadly liquid. To the authorities and Correner, it would look like the man suffered from a severe heart attack. Only two people would know the truth of what happened, and one of them would not even be sure of that.
With her work done, Kathian packed up her gun and items and slipped back into the Lower City. Once her things were put away, she made her way to the roof of her building and sat up there, stairing around. Her work was done. Once, she had taken great joy out of her work but now, it was nothing more than another person killed. Just another move she had to make the keep the authorities off her trail. A sigh escaped her as she thought about it.

The Wraith fired its repulsors as it touched down on the planet of Taris. Ambrose walked over to the docking ramp, up above and to the right lay a control board. He pressed a few buttons upon the pad and a loud hiss was heard as the air shocks gave way and slowly let the ramp decend onto the ground. As the Vampire made his way out of the Yacht, his night black robes rustleing around his feet, he walked over to the dockmaster. Tossing him a few extra credit chips than needed, he navigated his way out of the space port.
Ambrose had visited this planet before, but it was not one that he would like to call home. But what could you expect from the outer rim. As he walked down the sidewalk, he could see the local police and athorities outside of a hotel. Ambrose looked up to the room where the police were investigating thier crime scene, he noticed that the glass had been broken. His eyesight was far greater than that of a normal being. Ambrose knew that the hole was too small to notice, and the police would probably fill out the paperwork, noting that it was just another dead body.
The Sith felt a presence in the force that he had never felt before. As he walked down the sidewalk, he knew he was gaining on his target. Coming to stand in front of a nice apartment complex, well considering the part of town he was in, the Vampire knew that he must find this person that was calling him. Ambrose turned down into a dark alleyway. He reached out for the force, and found it once again as he always did. Ambrose concentrated upon the hatred, upon the darkside, and with a giant leap, he silently landed upon the rooftop of the building.
He could see her now. A blond woman sat a few meeters away from him, although she was not aware of his presence. Ambrose stood, with his hands clasped behind his back, watching the young woman. He could hear her thoughts as if they were an open book for all to see. But the reason that he was drawn to her made no sence to him. She was just a simple girl, what significance could she be. As he watched, he grew more interested in her with every passing moment. At last, Ambrose walke up behind the beautiful woman and spoke.
"You life is not what it use to be is it Mi'lady."

She had gotten lost in her own thoughts. Not a good idea for someone that had just killed a man for nothing more than money. She had not heard the man land on the roof behind her. She had not heard his foot falls, as she had on many other occassions when people tried to sneak up on her and usual failed horribly. But she did hear his voice speak to her like a cold breeze running through her mind.
"You life is not what it use to be is it Mi'lady."
In the blink of an eye, the young woman was on her feet, blaster in hand, pointed at this man before her. Her silver white was bound up in two Braid Buns on the top of her head but her bangs framed her face. The wind blew it slightly back as her ice blue eyes staired at the man before her. 'How did he manage to sneak up on me?' she wondered to herself. She had never come across someone that was able to do it, let alone as easily as this man had.
Kathian's blaster remained level with the man's chest as she stood there on the roof, unmoving for several long moments as they two's gaze met. A cold look was on her face and her eyes narrowed slightly at the man. Her left hand slid down to the other blaster that was strapped to her left thigh. Her dark lips parted as she began to speak.
"Who are you?"

As the two beings locked gazes, Ambrose never wavered as she held the fine piece of equipment in her hand. Ambrose held a smile across his vissage all the while. Amrbose started to walk around the woman, from side to side. The moon was bright this nigh, casting a shadow atop the transparasteel roof that he now stood on. As the wind blew each of their hair around, the Vampire could see here beautiful deadly eyes staring at him. And then she spoke.
"Who are you?"
"I have come to answer your prayers."

'My Prayers? What kind of a lunatic is this guy? He must be insane.' The thoughts dodged across her mind like a stone skipped across the waters of a pond. Her eyes never left his gaze. She circled him as much as he circled her. The two were locked in a twisted dance where neither touched but neither could pull away. Atleast, that is how she felt towards this man. She felt as though if she lowered her blaster even a centimeter, that he would be all over her.
"I have no prayers for I have no god. Now, who are you, and What do you want?"
Her words slipped forth from her mouth slow, calm and even. She showed him no fear for she felt none. She stopped their circling by coming to pause on the top of the slanted roof. She positioned herself perfectly so that if she fired at him, he would slip down the roof and off the edge, but if he hit her, she would remain on the roof and, if she did start sliding, she would have enough time to stop herself.

"I have no prayers for I have no god. Now, who are you, and What do you want?"
As the two circled, and she spoke to him, Ambrose was finding this woman to be more and more interesting. She was not like anyone that he had ever met. Her words were probably deadly to anyone else. As she came to a stop, Ambrose could see that she was in conflict with herself. Her thoughts penetrated his mind as if she were saying them outlout, although she had no idea. The Vampire did not answer her quesion per say, instead he continued what he was saying.
"Your life use to have meaning didn't it. The food sickens you, the drink has no taste anymore does it. You cant figure out what whent wrong. What would you say if I could give it all back to you, give you a life in witch you could never imagine."

Kathian blinked once from his words, curiocity growing within her darkened heart. What he said was infact true. She had killed so many people that, in her mind, she herself was dead. She knew death like an artist knows his paint and brushes. After so long, it had dulled her to everything else in the world. But her face showed nothing of this. Other than the blink of her eyes, she showed no sign that she was interested in what he said.
"And how, My Lord," she said in a slightly mocking tone, "would you propose to do this? And you still have not answered me with your name."
She was being rather stubborn about his name.

She was perfect. She had the right mind frame, attitude, she had it all. Ambrose smiled at her words.
"And how, My Lord would you propose to do this? And you still have not answered me with your name."
"My name is Ambrose braeden."
Ambrose looked up into the moonlight, taking a big wiff of the night air, the Sith looked back down at the young woman.
"I can give you a life for all time, and sickness and death can never touch you again. There is only one way to acheive this, through me."

"I can give you a life for all time, and sickness and death can never touch you again. There is only one way to acheive this, through me."
"Sounds like dieing to me, Lord Ambrose." His name she said, again, in a mocking tone. A slight raise of the eye brow gave it an extra touch of slight amusement. She had been one to keep her emotions in check her entire life. She would not alow this man to read through her like a book. She had trained too long and hard to be as good as she is just to let one man tear it all apart. She kept her cool and she hid her emotions.
"So what kind of a trick or deal is this? Let me guess, you wish for me to go with you and be your whore for all eternity until we both die? Hm. Sorry, but I am not for sale. Atleast for that kind of a job."

A slight smile etched its way onto Ambrose's face as he heard the words creap out of her. Ambrose kept staring straight at her, piercing into her very soul. He knew a demonstration was in order for her to take him seriously.
"I believe I must show you what I mean."
With that, Ambrose leaped down off of the building. Within moments he was back, but this time he held a person in his arms. The man looked terrefied as he stood shocked from the sudden bolt upwards. The two walked forward, the man now realizing where he was and trying to escape. The Vampire held him in place with ease. Ambrose stared at Kathian with an evil look this time. As he stood behind the man, ambrose tilted his head, revealing his neck. With one swift fluid motion, Ambrose merged down, sinking his stark white fangs into the mans jugular vein. He could hear the man's heart beat with his own. The woman watched as the mans life ebbed out of him. After a moment, Ambrose let go and the limp body lie at his fet. Ambrose lifted his hand to wipe his mouth.

Kathian watched this Ambrose drink the very life out of the man he held. Her eyes locked with this man's as his life was slowly taken from him, drop by drop. He pleaded for her help with his eyes but she gave him no sign of hope. Not even a glimmer of sympathy for the man. She had seen to much death to care at this point if he lived or died. Infact, a slight twist at the corner of her mouth left her lips in a very faint smirk. She found this amusing.
Finaly, the man's eyes died, along with his body and spirit. Her eyes raised to meet Ambrose as she slowly lowered her blaster. Even after he had showed her what he truely was, she did not fear him. Infact, any fear that she had felt towards him before was now gone. She now knew what he was and it sent a slight wave of excitement through her body. She liked what she had seen. But she did not let her excitement show. She would find out what this man wanted first.
"So... what is it, Ambrose Braeden, that you want from me?"

Ambrose did not beat around the bush anymore. He went straight to the point. He walked up to stand in front of the young woman.
"I wish for you to join me, become what I am, and have life again. Let me give you the life that you can only dream of. You have shown me that you are worthy of the Dark gift. It is your choice."
Ambrose stood, awaiting her anwser.

Kathian gazed up at the man, her ice blue eyes stareing into him. Now she was skeptical. Not about his power or about him giving it to her, but more about what he wanted from her. Everything came at a price, even something like this. She had to know what it was before she made the decision to accept it.
"And what is it that you want in return for this... gift?"

"And what is it that you want in return for this... gift?"
Ambrose's gaze did not waver as she spoke to him. He stared into her ice blue eyes as they stood on the roof top.
"It is an honor to recieve the Dark gift. But you must say goodbye to sunlight, for it kills my kind. I do not want any type of payment for the gift I offer to you now, but if you betray me, your life as you know it will be over."
Kathian Natoru
Jul 4th, 2006, 01:32:27 AM
Her loyalty. That was all he wanted. She could deal with that as long as he did not ask too much of her. But she could see how this deal could infact run rotten for her. She narrowed her eyes slightly at him.
"And what would you have me do if I am to be loyal to you? Would I still be able to continue doing as I do now? Sunlight is nothing to me, I work at night anyways."
Ambrose Braeden

"You will learn from me on how to survive, then you will venture out on your own. You may continue your work if you choose so, but know this, you will be more than human, you will see and do things that you have never done before. Your sences will increase, but know this, the Dark gift is diferent for each of us but we all grow stronger as we go along."

The possibilities dodged in and out of Kathian's mind as she thought about everything he had been telling her. In truth, it was something that she had been wanting for a long time. But she just didn't know it. A continued life through death. Her eyes had drifted away from him as she thought about this. Then, suddenly, she looked back at him. Her next words would tell him that she was ready for what ever came at her.
"Show me."

"Show me."
The words that the Vampire had been waiting to hear had finally been uttered. A slight evil grin etched its way onto his face as he lowerd his head. With lightning fast speeds that were inhereted to him when he was born to darkness as he calls it, Ambrose rushed the woman. She could not see him, for he moved faster than the eye could see. Upon reaching her, the Sith placed a hand on the back of her neck and tilted her head. Without hesitation, Ambrose sank his teeth into the young woman. As he drained the life from her, he began to lay her down. She grasped at him with pain as he sucked the life from her. He stopped and hovered a few feet above her.
"If I were to leave you here now, you would die. I am going to give you the life you have always wanted."
With that, Ambrose knelt on both knees at her side. He brought his wrist up to his mouth and bit the flesh. The sound was soft, but noticable. Amrbrose held his arm abover her mouth, letting the blood drip onto her lips...
"Drink Kathian"

Kathian did not see him but she felt him approach her. She felt his cold embrace pull her to him and his sharp fangs peirce her neck. A wave of pain erupted from the wound. But, where as the average person might have started screaming at this point, Kathian just drew in a sharp breath. Her breathing quickened as he drank from her more and more. She felt the pain but to her, it was also the greatest pleasure she had ever felt. Her arms wrapped around his back and she drew her finger nails down his back, leaving deep marks that practicly bled.
Then she felt it. Her life began to leave her as he drank beyond what she could handle. Her arms grew weak and she could no longer hold herself up. She fell limp but she felt him catch her and lower her slowly to the ground. When he pulled away, she couldn't move. Her eyes were half open and she was barely seeing anything. She faintly heard his words in her ear and mind as she felt drops of liquid land on her lips.
"Drink Kathian"
She heard his words and suddenly this undieing thirst hit her. She tasted his blood on her lips and she wanted... no needed more of it. Her eyes slowly focused on the bleeding wrist above her as her right hand came up and weakly grasped the arm, pulling it closer to her. Slowly, she began to drink, closing her eyes as she did so. After a few seconds of drinking, she felt her strength begin to return to her. Her eyes flew open and she grasped his arm tighter with much more strength then someone of her build should have. She continued to drink from him.

As she closed her eyes, he could see that she needed the blood more and more with every passing moment. All of the sudden, Kathian let go of his arm and started writing in pain. He knew that this was just another part in the process. Ambrose stood to his feet, and closed his eyes. The Vampire concentrated ont his inate ability to regen. The Sith looked down at his wrist to see the flesh cover the open wound within seconds. Dropping his arm, he turned his attention back to Kathian.
She was on the roof top, doubled over in pain. He knew that this was not like any pain that she had ever felt before in her life.
"Dont worry Kathian. Your body is dying. It happens to the best of us."
After a few moments of the beautiful woman breathing heavily from the pain, she looked up at the night sky, and he knew that she was changing in front of him. The blood around her mouth dissapeared, and here eyes changed, became more fierce.
"Now look Kathian, with your new Vampire eyes..."

Kathian had finaly let go of his wrist just before the pain hit her. She might have enjoyed the pain he had given her a moment ago. But this was beyond pleasure. This actualy was painful to her. It felt as though her innards were melting away and changing. The skin pigment melted away, leaving her skin practicly the same color as her silver hair.
The pain finaly stopped after several long moments. She lay there, her feral looking eyes stareing up at the night sky. Even though it was not needed, she was breathing hard out of habbit. There were many things that she would have to get used to at this point. That is one of them. Looking at the sky, it was like she had never seen it before. Everything seem new. Or atleast different. Every star she could see clearly. And if she focused on one that was actualy a planet, she could barely see the shape of it and guess which one it is. The sounds of the city hit her ears and she sat up, looking around. She could feel a new power corse through her veins as she raised her eyes to Ambrose. He could feel her thirst for blood as their eyes connected, a small smirk on her black lips.

The two locked eyes and he had a slight grin as she completed her transformation. As she sat up, he knew that it was time for her to feel the pleasure that he had felt so many times before. He walked over to her and grabbed her hand. Lifting her to her feet he walked her over the the edge of the building. Ambrose looked at her.
"Lets get down."
With that, the Vampire stepped off of the edge. His nightblack cloak fluttering in the wind as he fell to the ground. Landing on his feet, the Sith looked up and waited for his new pupil to follow.

Kathian walked to the edge of the building and looked down to where he stood. It was a long drop but, for some reason, she felt no fear in taking the plunge. Her eyes shifted so that she could see the exact place that she would land and then turns to look back at Ambrose. The smirk was still present on her lips as she took the step off of the building.
She fell through the air like a shadow along a wall until she landed on the ground, crouching slightly to allow the spring for her legs so they did not get injured. She stands up fully and looks at Ambrose, waiting.

Ambrose waited for her to reach the bottom. As she landed and looked over at him, they both walked over to a patron that did not matter much. As they walked the Vampire spoke to her.
"You must feed in order to survive."
As he walked over, Ambrose pointed to the man, laying down. He had no idea that his life was about to end.
"Feed, do what it is in your nature to do."

Kathian's eyes followed were her new teacher was pointing. She could smell the blood running through the man's veins and she wanted it. She dodged forward, grabbing the man by the throat. His cries echoed through the ally as he figured out that he was in danger. Kathian's canines extended out into fangs, sharp and deadly, for the first time in her unlife. A wicked grin spread across her lips and she quickly burried them deep within the mans neck, drinking from him like someone that hasn't had liquid in days.

No one could see the two durring their escapade. If anyone had, they would be dead by now. Ambrose just watched as his new found student in darkness had her first kill. He watched as she took pleasure in the kill, fathomed at the smell of blood. As he drank he knew that she still had much to learn.
Ambrose walked up and grabbed Kathian by the shoulder and gave her a gentle tug. The woman released from her prey and looked at him.
"Now now, we must not stay attached too long. You must stop before the heart stops, you can not drink dead blood."

Kathian pulls back away from the victim just before the last drop of blood is taken. Her eyes raise to look at Ambrose. She sees him in a new light now. Nothing for her to be afraid of. Instead more like a father, teacher and lover all at once. She felt a connection to him more than she has ever felt with any one creature before. She raises up to her feet to stand before him.
"What would you have me do, My lord?"
