View Full Version : God bless Guatemalan child slavery and surplus ammunition

My bulk crate of 720 rounds of .223 finally arrived. The finest hand-me-down Guatemalan surplus ammunition that money can buy, and also the most economical, thanks to the snafu that is the Iraq War.

But still, ammo is ammo. It was a thing of beauty when it arrived. Bullets heaped over themselves all willy-nilly in a steel ammo can. It looked like the opening scene from Lord of War. I just spilled the whole cache onto my living room carpet, and began to load the stripper clips. There were only four rounds on each clip, which can hold up to ten. I guess that's all that can be expected of guatemalan slave children.

I guess its fitting that the United Nations is having a conference in the next 2 weeks trying to stem the tide of illegal arms and munitions trade. I'm finally looking forward to shooting off a whole bunch of third world blood ammo and killing steel and paper targets with it! >D

Very nice Charley, speaking of which I too need to get some more rounds. Perhaps getting them from a third world country is the best plan of action. Thanks Charley!

So, now that you have enough guns and ammo to arm a small militia... you should run for president! or at least governor of small small pitiful state.

That's sick.

No way politics is too much work for me. I just want to sit on my butt and drink mint juleps or something incredibly lazy.

Nothing sick about buying bulk and saving money.

Glorifying child slavery is in pretty bad taste, however.

Oh well. :)

I'm pretty sure that my ammo was not, in fact, packed by child slaves. :) It may not even be Guatemalan.

I'm sure it wasn't. :)Sorry, I just found it to be in bad taste. A personal opinion, nothing more.

My floorspace is reserved for the pile system I use for all of my art. There will be no bullets added to that - I've got enough trouble with you leaving your clothes on the floor and messing up my carefully prepared paper piles :p

I duno why, but there is something I find very very wrong about the fact that he has all of those bullets and the gun and all that crap spread out on a child's dinosaur sheet.... Anyone else notice that?

I do it for that very bit of dichotomy actually :)

And I like my bedsheets a lot. Dinosaurs are cool.

Sounds fine to me. Better maybe than having half a rally car's intake system spread out on the lounge room floor - Man I love not being married sometimes :D
