My bulk crate of 720 rounds of .223 finally arrived. The finest hand-me-down Guatemalan surplus ammunition that money can buy, and also the most economical, thanks to the snafu that is the Iraq War.
But still, ammo is ammo. It was a thing of beauty when it arrived. Bullets heaped over themselves all willy-nilly in a steel ammo can. It looked like the opening scene from Lord of War. I just spilled the whole cache onto my living room carpet, and began to load the stripper clips. There were only four rounds on each clip, which can hold up to ten. I guess that's all that can be expected of guatemalan slave children.
I guess its fitting that the United Nations is having a conference in the next 2 weeks trying to stem the tide of illegal arms and munitions trade. I'm finally looking forward to shooting off a whole bunch of third world blood ammo and killing steel and paper targets with it! >D
