I've spent no less than half this Idol season vehemently berating scores of people who saw that we had the same name and assumed we were related. I mean, I've never met the guy and I think the idea of assuming that same last name = blood relation is dumb, so I told people so.

Well imagine my suprise this past weekend when meeting up with my relatives, only to find out that the guy is something like my 3rd cousin or whatever.

So now that I'm a Z-list celebrity, who wants to touch me? Maybe my third cousin will buy me a coke and I'll sell it on ebay for enough money to buy three more cokes.

American Idol is seriously one of my least favorite shows ever. I can watch Golden Girls easier than American Idol. Speaking of which, I haven't seen Gilligan's Island in a while. Does it still come on?
