The cat isn't high, he just jumps high. :) I've never seen him jump down, however.

Yep, Puma chan does the same exact thing. Cheez-its are no longer safe on top of the fridge.

Razor seems to defy gravity and leaping literally for him is just looks like he's making a step. Ginger's really good leaping but he looks comicaly awkward.
Stig....
"Oh hey I want to go there but wait... okay I can do thi... no cant... wait yes... no! Yes... NO! YES!!!"
LEAPS!
"NO!!!!"
*Crash* *bang* *thump*
"Okay brain, that was a bad idea"
Didnt actually know until I got Stig some cats just straight out cant jump.

Athina, my lil white fuzz ball, occasionally misjudges and ends up with only her front paws landing. The yelp and look on her face right before she falls is priceless. She then runs away embarrassed.

Well, I don't have a cat so there is absolutely nothing I can contribute to this topic except that seeing Spunky jump that hight was really cool to watch.

My old cat Ozzie tried jumping to a beam accross a garden fence door, completely misjudged and ended up catching hold of the beam with his paws and pulled himself up. It was very funny as well as very impressive!

Spunky rescued the bear, huzzah! :lol
My little one, Chewie, is a jumping machine. She's all over the place, including on top of the refrigerator. She's such a jumping machine that I'm surprised (and extremely relieved) that she hasn't hurt herself! *knocks on wood*

I have one friend who owns two cats, and an older sister that has two cats. Everyone I know that has cats always has two of them. What's up with that? Except for my Uncle Ron, who has only one.
The highest I've ever seen a cat jump? My aunt used to have a cat that jumped onto the rear quarter of a horse she was sitting on. The horse did not appreciate having twenty small claws digging into it's rear end. My aunt was thrown off and her cat ran for it's life. :\

What is it with cats and stuffed animals? I'm constantly having to hide the micro-germs (from thinkgeek.com) from Isis. And yet, she always manages to find them! ARGH!
As for the jumper in the family... that would be me! No, not really. Actually, Bastet takes the prize for that one. She LOVES to sit on top of the fridge. As for Isis... she doesn't really jump... she just hijacks plush micro-germs.
Those videos of Spunky are really adorable! I especially loved it when he was sliding the teddy all along the top of the book case!
