All Shadows who haven't reported in are considered MIA, and we'll need to think up new NPC names to take their places. If they're in your wing, you get to name them, and you can do so in the roleplay. If you're the only PC character in your wing you just got a promotion to flight commander and you're the wing leader.

edit: I guess that means Bette is now Shadow Leader and you two are wing commanders. :p

New plan - you're all transferred to Bette's wing and your promotions are gone. Sorry. Hope you enjoyed the rank while it lasted. :) It's more fun to RP if we're not trying to wrangle three NPCs each. The rest of the squadron will be fending for itself in NPC land. :)

Right now I have all four of us as Wing 3, but we would probably split into twos during combat.

We could also put two of us in Wing 2, and two in Wing 3, if anyone thinks that idea has merit.

Rogues, you guys need to figure out what you're doing in the Bakuran system and go for it. :)

I have a theory - the whole battle starts when the SS escort runs into your recon and some idiot shoots first. We can take the 'shot first' fall, the Empire is known for that sort of thing.

Is the rebel fleet located in the system or is it a lone fighter that calls for reinforcements after, say, his/her hyperdrive is knocked out?

We're going to be running mixed ships with different sensor suites scanning for different things, and the Imperials will likely only pick up on two of the fighters at first. We're just doing recon of likely places in the sector. Right now that means Bakura. The Imperials are not above preying on independent shipments in order to uh, tax them.

There isn't much of a fleet. Just the Watchman and a pair of well gunned Corvettes to cover if the squadron gets into trouble.

It's a microjump out, so the response time is about three to five minutes- plenty of time for a terrifying multifighter brawl.

Right now a loose posting order should suffice, one for the shadows and one for the rogues:

It wouldn't matter much if shadow posts were intermingled with rogue posts, as long as the two separate posting orders stay in order.
