I find it almost intriguing that very few people know about the 25-odd minutes of Colbert roasting the President. It’s almost like everyone is trying to focus on the Bush impersonator to push Colbert’s amazing Shakespearian wit underground.

It is horrible that comedians in America are the only ones with the gall to say anything.

I think it is more of the shock value. Like, I watch Colbert a few times a week and there it really wasn't any different. But with the impersonator, it was him and the leader of the free world. While Bush may not be liked and ridiculed he still is one of the most powerful men on the planet.

It was the 'Nailed it' that got me completely, cause I've seen it in his [Bush's] eyes after he butchers some sentence.

This was great, and it's nice to see that he's not above poking fun at himself :D
