It's because the package that has mysteriously appeared at my school actually contains some sort of lethal mechanism. Maybe killer bees? Could be a shape charge? Who knows?

I generally don't check my mailbox at school. Why? Because no one knows my box number and would ever send me anything. I randomly checked today.

"Notice: Please stop by mailroom with this notice..." and additional information such as my box number, name, and "from: amazon".

Interesting.

My birthday was on the 10th, this got here the 11th.

The thing is. The only people who could've known about my box number, unless someone called the school to find out, are people on facebook.

It's a mystery.

Why hasn't anyone said, "Andrew, you get a package?" Could this be a scary stalker?

I'm going to claim the thing tomorrow after classes. Wish me luck.

If you don't want it, you can forward it to me.

I'm too excited to not want it.

What could it be?!

I already ruled out "sleep purchasing." I checked my amazon purchase history and I know I didn't buy the darn thing.

It be funny if it was a mistake and the package is not meant for you.

Well... it has my name on it and it has my mailbox ID.

It would be a little difficult to accidentally place those on the package, eh?

10 to 1 it's a late birthday gift from someone far away. ;)

Did you open it yet or what!? OMG how can you wait so long to pick up a package!?

I have to wait 'till classes are over tomorrow to pick it up ;p

Then I'll open it up, and... uh... hopefully post.

Otherwise...

Well, class ends at 12, I'll head directly to the mailroom. If I don't post by 1... assume the worst.

Someone might have bought you something from your Wishlist on Amazon, if you have one. I think it shows your birthday on there.

I bet there's another smaller package inside that package.

And! Wow!

It's a Gene Wolfe book from one of the bums I knew in high school :) He remembered I love Wolfe. He, however, forgot to mention ordering me something for my birthday.

No explosion, sorry guys.

I didn't think Amazon had started a special Stalker section -- "All your dead animal needs! Complete with notes written in blood!" :p

Thinking about it, I could actually use a section like that :\

I am sorely disappointed. However, I have a package myself today.
