Ezra Khaine

Only a few days had gone by since his last visit. He had barely started on his assignment when he had stumbled on to something much, much bigger. A murder, not that such a trivial thing mattered much to a Lasombra, it was the thought behind the attack that scared him. If the Camarilla were bold enough to strike at the Sabbat Regent's advisors then they were growing daring, indeed.
He couldn't pass through the abyss with the body so he waited until midnight and then trudged through the streets with the body bag thrown over his shoulder. The local law enforcement had not offered much resistance when Ezra had removed the corpse from the examination table. They were speculating over the corpse's teeth. His incisors were longer then normal, forming fangs of some kind. Ezra had taken the body and left the examiners unharmed, for the most part.
Now he was walking into Selmena's office, the guards at the door didn't bother him; they knew he worked for Selmena. Ezra was not a very strong supporter of the Sabbat, heck; he was more of a Anarch then a Sabbat. The only reason he stuck with the Sabbat was because it was what the Lasombra did. They had practically created the Sabbat and it was their job to see that it worked. He pushed through the door and walked up to Selmena, who was sitting behind her desk as always. He set the body bag down on a side table and then turned to address the surprised Maus, "Surprise," He said in a bitter voice before pulled the zipper back far enough to show Viktor Konstantin pale, empty face, "I don't think he made it to Russia," He pulled the zipper down to his waist to show the giant singed hole were his chest should be, "Looks like a flamethrower to me. They left the body intact on purpose; they wanted us to find it. It’s a warning."
