...Immediately to the Council Chamber," A shock wave of noise hit Jorshal's mind and those were the only words he could discern out of the maelstorm. The effects of the mental blast would leave him dizzy for a few moments and leave the words imprinted in his mind for days to come. It was, unmistakably, Zereth voice that had been heard. Jorshal could wonder the reason for the summon all he wanted, but it was greatly doubted that he would know the true reason behind the call. Zereth stood in the dark council chamber in Lady Vader's seat. The leader of the sith order had disappeared on a personal retreat a few months ago but popped back in every now and then. She had come back yesterday and left immediately afterwards, but had stayed long enough for a lengthy conversation to take place between Zereth and her.

Now that Jorshal was heading towards the Council Chamber a series of actions of future decisions had already been set into motion. What happened tonight could not be undone and it would affect the order in many ways; whether subtle or powerful, for the good of the order or for the bad. Zereth could not tell the future but he was sure his and Lady Vader's choice would be for the better.

Jorshal quinted as a telepathic voice filled his head. Telepathy was never one of his strong points, he much preferred vocal contact, but telepathy had its uses at times.

To the Council Chamber?

Surprise summonings were rare, naturally his mind wandered into the realm of curiosity as he walked briskly to the chamber. Arriving to find Zereth taking the head seat, he glanced around to see if anyone else was present, no one was.

"So what's this about?" He asked carefully as his mind soaking in the image before him.

The door slammed shut behind Jorshal, closing off all light and throwing them into absolute darkness. All around the room candles came to life in a ring surrounding the raised podium that the elders' seats sat on. The candle light revealed many cloaked and hooded figures that had not been visible when Jorshal had arrived. Each figure held a bright burning candle in their hands. Despite the burning light in their hands the individuals' faces could not be seen and remained cloaked in an impenetrable shadow.

"Come forward, Sith Knight Jorshal Vuntana," Zereth commanded as he rose to his feet. His own hood covered his head but his face was visible. His eyes burned bright red in the low light and his face was stern. He looked more like a warrior god then a sith knight, "Come forward and kneel."

He had a feeling in his gut that he knew what this was about. He almost wanted to smile, but he didn't and approached Zereth as commanded to, taking one knee and looking up at Zereth.

Zereth glanced around the room at the masked candle holders. Each was a member of the order, rank aside. As he looked around he could sense who each one of them was. Yurza, Baralai, Tarsis, Naira , Mars, Shilandra, Ezra, and any others he had felt prominent enough to partake in this ritual. Zereth turned away and reached behind Lady Vader's council seat and extracted a long wicked blade from its hiding place. It was a sword of sith design and very old, ancient you could say. It was the Blade of Naga Sadow. The artifact had been found a hundred years ago in Nago Sadow's tomb here on Korriban but Zereth was the first to pull it out of their artifact vault. He had found it very fitting for the task at hand.

He held the blade out and laid it across one of Jorshal's shoulders, "Jorshal Vuntana. By the power of the force and the consent of Lady Vader, with the power invested in my as Knight of this order, with the blade of Naga Sadow," He moved the blade over to the other shoulder, "I dub thee Sith Master and commander of the Sith Order, in Lady Vader's absence. May your reign be long and filled with fortune. Rise Master Vuntana," As Jorshal rose to his feet, Zereth fell to one knee, turned the sword around and offered Jorshal the hilt with his head bowed. All around the room the candle holders had fallen to their knees and were bowing their heads.

He took the hilt in his hand and stood up. Part of him was telling him he deserved it, he deserved every bit. The other side insisted he wasn't ready, he could barely handle the responsibility of a Knight, let alone an Elder. Perhaps in time he would grow into the role of master, he told himself. The Order needed some sort of figurehead while Lady Vader was out, he could agree on that with ease, maybe it should be him.

"I am honored to head this Order in the absence of Lady Vader. We are strong and the Force is with us alone. Our numbers have been growing, we outnumber the Jedi already. Our collective skill grows with each day. The Sith Order is a young beast, yet our destiny stands before us, begging to be taken by our eager hands. Our power is great, we stand invincible here amongst the spirits of our ancestors on Korriban. Despite hardships that have plagued the Sith way for thousands of years, here and now the Sith Endure."

Yurza put the candle in front of him and stood up to his full height. He pushed back his cloak's hood to reveal his face. Though he was jealous of Jorshal's promotion, but he had no doubt in his mind that the man was every bit deserving of his title. "You words could not be truer, Master Vuntana. May your wisdom help that beast grow into an animal that will be feared and respected throughout the galaxy.

ooc/ Hope this is ok. I just thought it would be good for the memebrs to congradulate Jorshal here with a few words.

Zereth rose to his feet and looked at Jorshal. For a moment anger flashed through his eyes, but faded as fast as it appeared. He did not say anything; there was nothing left to say. Instead he stepped back and joined the candle holders along the edge of the wall. If anyone else wanted to approach and congratulate Jorshal then now was the time to do it.

Removing her hood, Naira walked up to the new master to congratulate him. "Congratulations Sir. This is truly an honor for you and for all of us."

Tarsis

While everyone else went forward to congratulate Jorshal on his promotion, Tarsis stayed back where he was. He didn't pull back his hood like the others and he did his best to keep his candle's light as far from his face as possible. Truth be told, the only reason Tarsis was here to begin with was out of respect for the Order and because Zereth had asked him to be, like all the rest.

Craddleing a wounded arm slung up against his battered chest, Tarsis silently waited for the ceremony to end...
