Allegiance: Clan Tremere; The Sabbat
Physical Appearance: Sergei could be described as tall, dark and handsome – if only he were more handsome. Gaunt, Sergei is deathly pale and very thin. His eyes are deep-set and dark, giving him a calculating look.
History: Born in Dresden (Germany) in 1902.
Personality: To say that Sergei prefers to keep his plans to himself would be an understatement. Very much reserved, he has learned to keep a tight leash on his emotions and rarely acts on impulse, instead weighing carefully the pros and cons of a situation. His trust and loyalty is not easily earned, and he is wary of anyone who would offer a favour 'out of the goodness of their heart'. He holds no love for the Camarilla, or infact the Tzimisce with whom he is allied – though has a great deal of respect for the Lasombra.
Perception: Amongst the Camarilla, the Tremere are distrusted. Amongst the Sabbat Tzimisce, they are hated. There are few who would call a Tremere sorcerer their friend or ally, particularly one who has defected to the Sabbat. Characters in the Sabbat are likely to see the benefit of working alongside Sergei, though unlikely to do so for any longer than necessary. Many may wonder exactly why the Archbishop Katarina has chosen to take a runaway warlock on as her vizier.
Additional Information: Sergei diablerized his sire only a matter of years after his embrace.
Though few have seen them, Sergei's skin is littered with tattoos. Most notable, and often visible, among these are the words 'ARS MORIENDI' written across his collar bone.
