No I think that is actually a terrible idea. I am sure, however, that someone has made an airsoft E-11.

Well beside the fact that i strongly disagree with your opinion,I do however appreciate the fact that you looked and responded. Thanks for the opinion.

The last thing we need is Star Wars being associated with BBgun idiocy, or anything potentially dangerous.

Ok so just checking...so we both agree that your an idiot, right? What was the point in leaving that post I said that I disagreed but said thank you...why did you have to leave that message.Did I do something wrong?

First, calling me an idiot is very near the apex of bad ideas.

I was clarifying my position. If you have issues with people doing that you might want to go and take a deep breath and maybe spend a little time away from your keyboard.

I think i call this enough clarification but maybe thats just me.So i'm making you mad and how is that a mistake...What are you going to do kill me over the internet?

You see that under his name? He's a moderator. You should probably at least be a little nice to him if you'd like to keep posting here.

The closest thing to mixing star wars and guns for me is adding a scope and a muzzle brake to a Kel-Tec PLR-16 pistol.

In other words, even if you were able to get the specs correct enough to make a SW bb gun, I really don't think its a good idea at all.

Well since its apparently not a good idea at all then just close the thread.I guess thanks for the opinoin.Well if he wants to stop me from posting then go ahead.I can see this will affect my opinoin on the post though thats the only thing i'm worried about.Oh well whatever happens happens...

Actually, this might be a good idea. Now, everyone has their opinions, that's good and all.

But an airsoft star wars rifle. Now that sounds interesting...

Perhaps, but the amount of engineering that goes into a thing like that is daunting if its anything more than a nerf gun.

The logical thing would be to take something of similar size and shape and modify that.

That's pretty much what I plan to do to my M4, is turn it into a Warhammer 40k lasgun. But take some guns that they used as props in the movie, and add the stuff to the weapon to make it look like Star Wars.

Modding airsoft is okay. What you were suggesting in the OP went beyond the pale though.

Have you ever done anything of this nature before?

Nope never done anything like it before but i just found a website that offers a real cheap m4 replica mauser and all you gotta do really is put a flash hider on the end of the barrel and strap a scope on it and your in with a grin....

M4 Mauser? O_o That doesn't make any sense.

Are you sure you don't mean a C96 broomhandle?

There is an M2 Mauser that Sig-Sauer contracted, but it looks nothing like what you're going for.

Also, I don't think an airsoft pistol will have a threaded barrel to take a flash hider, or rails or a similar mounting for optics. You could buy some cheap glass from Tasco and drill mount that brute force onto the gun's frame, but keep in mind you're doing this to a $100 airsoft gun. It's going to be an expensive experiment.

Don't bother with the flash hider. Unlike the glass, it'll have absolutely no use. Just dink around for whatever piece of junk you can find that looks authentic, and solder it onto the barrel.

the reason i called it an m4 is because that is what this company that is selling it called it.But the gun that i found costs about 14.90 something not including shipping so its not too expensive so it wouldn't be too bad.Walmart has scopes you could mount no problem there are ways i'm sure...as for the flash hider i'm not really to sure about how to do any of that but yeah i guess you could solder it like you said anyway in the very least. The most expensive part would be a flash hider which i've found online for like 75 bucks but i'm sure you could find somewhere that has a flash hider for cheap. So do you think now knowing what you know that is possible?

Can you shoot me a link to that airsoft mauser?

As for the scope, yeah you can get cheap glass at Wal Mart and that's what I'd recommend. Should be able to get what you need for $20 or so. Can't guarantee it'll fit and I'm pretty sure it won't, but you can be creative with that. Depending on what the airsoft's spine looks like, you might be able to make it work.

As for the flash hider, I'd just find a cone of some aluminum material and cut it to fit flush with the mauser's barrel. You really don't want to fool with any real flash hider. They won't thread onto an airsoft gun, and they're going to be relatively heavy to your gun, causing it to dip and be generally cumbersome. That, and $75 is insanity for a flash hider.

Yeah i'll shoot you a link its at:www.backyardartillery.com then all you do is do a search for a m32 and you'll find it.Yeah I agree paying that much for a flash hider is a ton of money,if you ever find a cone of aluminum and you somehow have two go ahead and post it for me and i'll buy one from you.The only reason I wanted one of these bb guns is to make like a working replica bb gun i thought that would be pretty sweet.

Honestly, just go muck around in a hardware store for any peripherals you need. You can find all manner of handy looking props. While you're in that hardware store, buy a dremel and some attachments, because those help as well.

Me and my girlfriend have done similar to nerf guns such as these:

With a dremel, some paint, and free time, she did this:

And I did this:
